TV commentary:

IASIP- Okay, that one subtle joke at the end was brilliant! I mean, obviously Charlie was one of the people surveyed (didn't they rip that joke off of Family Guy). Though heh, I always assumed Family Feud asked a different set of 100 people for each question, I never even considered the idea they would just ask people all those questions in one sitting. They might not, I mean, they only do it here for the joke, but like I said, I never even thought they might do it that way.

But I digress, what was amusing was how Charlie was all, "Oh, since I know the answers, I should do the final round" and they correctly countered that he would only know the answers to his questions and all he could get them was 5 points. Which ended up being exactly what they needed to win. I mean, you knew that was coming, that all they would needed was five, but I like how they didn't point it out. If you were paying attention, you would see it.

Suits- Wow, a mostly happy ending to the season! So, we find out what Forstman and Harvey's deal was. 12 years ago, after a big win, Forstman offers Harvey a job. Donna, who isn't working for Harvey yet, and is also courting Harvey to become his new secretary, thinks the guy is bad news and warns Harvey not to deal with this guy. The guy offers Harvey a big pay check, but Harvey isn't in it for the money. Too bad has ex-gambler brother wants 150K to open a restaurant and turn his life around. If Harvey won't give it to him, he'll have no choice but to go to who I assume is whoever their mom married after their parents got divorced.

So he goes to Jessica first, telling her about Forstman's offer and moving up the time table to get him to Pearson-Hardman. Jessica also warns him that Forstman is bad news. But, Harvey needs the money, so he accepts Forstman's offer, foolishly 1) revealing he needs the money for his ex-gambling addict brother, which Forstman pretends to be all, "Oh, I'm withdrawing my offer, your brother is a pressure point" and appealing to Harvey's cockiness all, "I bet you my brother won't let me down!" to make Forstman be all, "Oh, I'll take that bet, you're hired!" And 2) having loose lips and revealing seomthing Forstman uses for insider trading.

Harvey is livid when he finds out what the guy did, and says not only is he not taking the offer, he's indicting Forstman. Too bad Forstman already used those earnings from that to pay Harvey's brother. So if he goes down, they're going down with him. So Harvey can't touch him. But he does go back to the office where Donna has made herself his secretary. And thus, the beginning of an era.

In the present, Cahill approaches Harvey all he can't find the connection between Forstman and Woodall, and he's running out of time. And if they go free, Woodall will prolly go after Louis for the deal Forstman tricked him into. And Louis knows what he knows, so that could start a domino effect.

He tasks Mike with figuring a way out of this, much to Rachel's chagrin since she's actually Harvey's associate and he never uses her for anything. So she and Mike work together, not only to show Harvey that Mike's in it with Rachel (if he tells Mike something, he's going to tell Rachel because he loves her and they don't keep things from each other) and to show that Rachel is capable and Harvey can and should be going to her with stuff.

After a fruitless search, Mike tells Rachel he thinks Harvey has a way to get to Forstman, but it will pull Harvey's brother into all this. But, Rachel says Mike needs to suggest to Harvey that maybe they have no choice but to go this route, and that because Harvey's too close to this he's not thinking the clearest and needs people to tell him to make the hard choices. Mike says they should go together and tell him, again to bring Rachel into their world and show Harvey she's someone who needs to be involved from now on.

Harvey says hell no, but it was still right to tell him that. After that failure, Rachel realizes they're looking in the wrong place. They know Forstman goes after people's pressure points, the people they care about. And they've looked into all of Woodall's relatives. But what if this most important person in the world to him isn't someone related?

And sure enough, they find an ex-wife with early onset Alzheimer's at a high end care facility. They tell Harvey, though Rachel feels bad because if they do this, she could get kicked out, and that's not fair to her. But, they do tell Harvey, and he tries to approach Woodall to get him to see the light. He can't keep letting Forstman have him under his thumb like that. Even if his ex-wife is forced out of that care, at least they'll be free, and who knows, maybe they can still find a way to give her the care she needs!

Woodall tells Forstman, who goes to visit Harvey and basically gloats all, they'll never get Woodall to cave. And he can't use his own brother, because Forstman will make sure he's implicated too. He foolishly says aloud that Harvey's brother had no idea it was dirty money, and how did trick the Specter brothers. Of course, Harvey was wired up by Cahill, so they're able to get him!

Other stuff. Louis' secretary Norma dies. Louis is pretty upset about it, and Donna helps him work through his feelings. Louis gives a speech at her memorial about not letting chances pass by. Which inspires Mike to propose to Rachel. Ha, when he was giving her all these complements, and Rachel was, "OMG, are you doing what I think you're doing?!" a part of me would be amused if he had been all, "What?! Oh, no, I was just paying you some complements!" But nope, he got her dad's permission and Faye's ring and they get engaged!

Also, Donna's sick and tired of this nebulous area she and Harvey are in. Since Harvey can't admit to anything, the best thing for her is to leave and take the empty secretary slot for Louis. Harvey is of course hurt. But its not like she won't be down the hall. Things are different now though, and he prolly does need to man up and risk it, or lose Donna forever.

And what's going on with Jessica? Are they setting her up to leave? Harvey had gone to Jessica earlier in the ep, asking her for advice, to help him get his head on straight. But Jeff just left, and that's because of the decisions she made. So, she doesn't think she can give him good advice, because her head isn't on straight right now. Given the negative connotations she put on her life path, are they going to have her change her life path?
