The Americans- rjv('Cold blooded!') Wow, if there was any doubt if Elizabeth was the more ruthless one, this ep confirmed it. Like holy jeez, just fricking flattening some poor random with a car so her asset would get the job on the Northrop line.
Interesting though, wonder where she's going with that whole story she told about the guy she met who worked for some firm that questions people who work for defense contractors, just to get statistics to improve the running of the military industrial complex? Like will Phillip be this guy, and Lisa will answer these questions she thinks are totally innocent, but give away trade secrets?
But yeah, the whole Phillip-Kimmie thing continues to be creepy. Like, until Kimmie tried kissing him at the end, all the stuff they did at her house, you could imagine would be the same way he would act with Paige. Well, prolly not the pot smoking either. But you get what I mean.
Interesting though, we get a flashback to Phillip's, I guess, sex training? He had to sleep with all sorts, including men! I guess they have to be able to seduce whoever.
Ghost Whisperer- Heh, like I said, been watching this on netflix. Again, it gets all Bioware dialogue wheel, with the ghost saying something, and Melinda saying something that doesn't even remotely sound the same. Like the ghost is all, "No, look at her, of course she loved him, she just held on a little too tight!" But Melinda tells the lady, "No, he thinks you have a heart, you just need to use it more!" WTF? Like just once I want to see the ghost be all, "That's not what I said, stop ad-libbing!"
So, the ep I'm up to, Melinda's preggers. And I was thinking, even though its Jim's soul in Sam's body, wouldn't that mean the kid is genetically Sam's? But nope, apparently she was knocked up by Jim. And it had only been 8 weeks between him dying and her hooking up with Sam. Wow, I mean, she's still with Jim, but heh, people other than Eli, Ned, or Delia must be like totally offended! Carrying on with another person when her husband isn't even cold in the ground?
I still get a kick out of the fact that even though Sam is a contractor, he somehow took all the right classes to serve as pre-reqs to help Jim-Sam to get into medical school.
