12 Monkeys- That pretty much went as I expected. So in 2015, Cassandra gets called down to the station as a witness to Jennifer Goines' abduction. She is able to learn about the other survivor of the lab massacre, and interestingly enough, its someone she met in Haiti the year before. So, she goes to the CDC to find him, but learns the guy, Henri, died soon after she left. She's disappointed that its a dead end, but Cole points out he's a time traveler and can just pop back there and question him.
Of course, he has to be careful not to bump into her, lest he cause a paradox. So he finds the guy, who informs him he actually doesn't know where the secret lab is, only that its mobile. 12 Monkeys preacher-looking guy also finds the guy, and though they escape, Cole realizes Henri can't run far enough, they'll eventually find the guy and get the location out of him. So, to no obvious surprise, Cole ends up being the one who ended up killing him. Of course, he totally lies to Cassandra about it.
Its interesting, because they actually wrap up a few plot threads here- like why Cassandra was kinda disgraced between the first and second times Cole met her, and how she could be at the CDC in the future to give her warning. I figured she became a recluse after her meeting with Cole, ranting out him being from the future and being labeled as a nutcase. But I guess she was smarter than to do that. However, his portent did make her ultra paranoid. So she was already to declare a quarantine and have people shot if they tried to break it. So, she did get labeled as nuts, just not in the way I expected. And not too nuts, since no one ended up dying on her watch, it sounds like she was told to take a sabbatical. And, in the "present", her old boss is ready to give her her job back.
Which she figures is the best way to have access to resources that could help them locate the lab (though they don't mention she pretty much had to take the job because of like future history). So that solves that question.
In the "future", Ramse bumps into a former ally on patrol, who claims she left "The Seven" like they did and she no longer with some guy who's looking for Cole. He's pretty skeptical, but he lets her go anyways, telling Cole they need to be wary. And sure enough, the Seven (there's way more than 7 of them) is camped out nearby, ready to raid the place.
