TV commentary:

PLL- Hmm, the Liars were being particularly dumb tonight. First off, presuming they were one step ahead of Holbrook (its still kinda insane they've just glommed onto this whole Ali still being A and Holbrook doing her bidding theory when its unfounded. It is possible, but I think there's enough doubt there that they should question everything) was already dumb, but I think they reached new heights of idiocy. Like, I get Hannah was freaked because if the cops found that storage unit, she's the one going down. But still, you know what's more damning then the unit being in her name? Her getting caught at the unit moving stuff. I mean, this is Classic A, its not like they haven't seen A pull this kinda tactic before.

And then the rest of the Liars knew Haleb were prolly gonna move things, so that's a good first guess by Spence, but once the laptop was heading to some random place none of them had ever been to/heard of, they should've figured it was A or Holbrook realizing the unit was compromised and moving things. I mean, yes, the girls keep some secrets from each other, but Haleb knowing some random abandoned factory to ditch stuff at? Why would they know of such a place.

But yeah, they've been menaced by A before, but they go in with their guard down, all, "Oh, it definitely is just Haleb here, nothing to worry about!" Like they hear weird noises, and instead of being suspicious, they're all, "Ah, its probably just Hannah and Caleb moving stuff, and not a scary psycho killer because its not like that's happened before" and just decide to split up and explore the shady looking dark factory alone. Freaking Spencer just walks into some weird giant room with heavy glass vault like doors that seem like they trapped in there, like she didn't just see Caleb almost get cooked because he got locked in a kiln not a few days before!! I mean, she does at least try to prop open the door. But she doesn't know, the laptop was several feet from the door, even though its a heavy wrench holding the door open, A might be someone strong enough to just grab it and lock her in! Which is what happens. Though to be fair, black hoodie was pretty slick in pulling it through the opening between the door and the jam so Spence and Aria didn't see it coming.

I am amused that this time, they're locked in a room that freezes things, like what are the chances that they get locked in a room that does the exact opposite of what the room Caleb got trapped in does. But ha, Emily totally pulled a Han Solo to try and save them. I mean, with the key gone, its not like there was any other option than just banging on everything with the wrench, but that was just dumb luck (okay, plot device) that that actually worked. And why the hell did she fall to the floor like that?! And again, desperation, but did the girls really think they could kick that huge ass door down?

Actually, it was weird because Emily broke that one leaky pipe first (after the girls started at each other for several seconds as Sparia was ABOUT TO FREEZE TO DEATH) and then decided to turn the wheel to open the door? Why could she just turn the wheel before? Like I don't see why breaking the pipe would've made any difference in her being able to open the door. Its not like it was hydraulics.

But yeah, they almost get killed, and meanwhile Haleb are back at the unit, seeing its been emptied out save for the barrel. Hannah's too chicken to look inside just yet, so they get the brilliant idea to try and move it, even though again, classic A move would be for them to be caught by the cops holding a barrel that possibly has Mona's corpse in it. Sure enough, as they look for a dolly, they bump into Toby and Tanner who found out about the unit and were checking it out. Hannah and Caleb lie their way out of it, but the fact that they were there is already suspicious, particularly with the cameras off and the lock cut. Oh, and the lease agreement on file electronically (what about the paper copy) "corrupted" from Caleb's hacking. Which only makes it more suspicious. Though on the other hand they could argue, if they were going to be renting a storage unit to house a corpse, why the hell would they do it in their own name?!

In the end though, the girls are all pissed at Toby for not being a dirty cop and giving them a heads up instead of doing his job. Yes, he knows they're innocent, but he's a cop and he has to believe in the system, so he can't just destroy evidence and cover things up for them because they want him to! And Tanner reminds him of that fact after they search the locker and find the barrel. He calls Spence later to at least tell them he couldn't warn them because he only just found out on the way and Tanner was with him the whole time. But when Spence tries to press him for info, he shuts her down, saying he's too busy with work to see or talk to her that night.

I'm amused that she opened the barrel a crack, there was a awful smell, and THEN she tells Toby to maybe get the Hazmat team to check this out. We don't see what it is, and apparently the police can't even tell if its human remains, much less Mona's right now.

Other stuff, Aria confesses to Ezra about the letter. And at first he's all, "Ingenious, that was the perfect way to kiss Jackie's ass, by throwing me under the bus!" But then he reads it later and realizes, "Oh wait, I, a grown man, REALLY did mess up your life by dating you, an underage student of mine!"

And ha, Talia is interested in Em! Her whole comment about Ezra's butt was just her trying to suss out if Emily liked girls or boys. Its the 21st century, surely there were easier ways to figure out Em's sexuality.

Finally, Ashley tells Jason about Pastor Ted, and how nothing can happen between them again (so of course they kiss later). But she's talking about the proposal, and how she'll be a Pastor's wife and she's not sure she's ready for all that it entails. Like, what does she want to be doing that would be inappropriate for a pastor's wife? And truthfully, I think she has her answer right there- if she doesn't think she'd be happy as his wife, then she prolly shouldn't accept his proposal.
