Glee- Ha, this episode was insane, but whatever, I also thought it was hilarious. So, Sue's kinda insane. Will leaves behind a plastic fork after a friendly lunch together, and Sue is beyond insulted, thinking he wants her to clean up after him like he's her maid. So, she makes it her plan to destroy him, Rachel, and also get Klaine back together because apparently she's the hugest Klaine shipper.
So, she tries to sabotage Blaine and Karofsky's relationship, even claiming she did some genealogy research that proves they're third cousins. Meanwhile, Kurt is trying to move on, having found someone online, who turns out to be Harry Hamlin. Kurt obviously didn't realize the guy he was chatting with was old. And I kinda feel bad for Harry Hamlin here. It reminds me of something
sparkyboy once said about old queens. Married men who only realized they were gay (or come to accept they were gay) late in life. So they're thrown out into the dating world- and its like 10x worse for them than for straight divorcees, because not only are they trying to date again after being so long out of practice, they're having to navigate the new (to them) world of gays. Kurt feels sorry for the guy as well, and this Walter guy suggests they just take it slow and be friends, and see where it goes, no expectations.
Anyways, back to Sue's plan to destroy Rachel and Schue. She holds an invitational at Mckinley between ND, VA and the Warblers. Since ND only has Jane, Roderick and the twins, Rach pleads with Schue and Blaine to go easy on them- she calls back to the pilot, when they first saw VA and freaked out at how good they were. Rach doesn't want the newbies to freak out and quit on her. Will agrees, but Blaine's trying to build a team also, so he's not holding back. However, Sue gets footage of Will saying he'll hold back on her drone, and shows it to the Carmel principal (Figgins' sister!) getting Will in trouble.
Sue also manages to hypnotize Sam into being her unwitting helper. She sends him to Will's mailbox to steal his utility bills- Will catches him, and Sam says he was doing it on Rachel's orders, hoping it would distract Will from the competition, all, "You know how Rachel will do anything to win!" And for some reason Will believes him! So, he has VA go all out with a pretty well choreographed (though rather boring compared to their past numbers) number of Rock Lobster followed Whip It. They're a machine, and Rachel and Blaine are not pleased at their own choirs' chances. I do feel sorry for Will since VA seems to despise him.
But yeah, Sue uses Sam against Rachel more nefariously. He hypnotizes Sam to fall for Rachel, and when they finally kiss, to forget all that happened. So, there's some Samchel cuteness, and some people are totally against it, but whatever, I've always liked Samchel, its my third favorite ship for Rachel after Faberry and Puckelberry. Sam always seemed like what Finn should've been. But yeah, they get close, and finally kiss, and Rachel is kinda into it. But, since Sam was hypnotized to forget, he turns her down, not knowing what she's talking about, and still in love with Mercedes anyways. So, poor Rachel feels quite foolish.
