Vampire Diaries- Wow, Kai really is a psychopath. Possibly the most psychotic villain to grace this show, which is saying something. I mean, his opening story about the Mystic Grill manager was kinda nuts. (and he so did not blow that guy up!) But yeah, kidnapping Elena because he needed someone who could heal so he could experiment on them? Ha, is it bad that when the gang was working out a rescue plan and Jeremy volunteered his services, I was thinking, "Why is the Germ helping Damon, doesn't he hate him?" I like totally forgot Elena is his sister-cousin, and thus he prolly has as big a reason to want to rescue her as Damon would!
But yeah, they manage to rescue Elena and capture Kai, though not before Damon almost accidentally kills her due to a illusion spell cast by Kai. Ha, what the hell though, Elena fakes being close to death and totally freaks out Damon, like he has his hand in her chest searching for an errant splinter from the makeshift spear he accidentally threw into her, and she just starts cracking up all, "Heh, just kidding!" So the sparks are flying again, and all it took was for Elena to be kidnapped by a psychopath and for Damon to almost accidentally kill her?
Still, its nice to see Delena all happy again. Elena has the cutest smile. Speaking of, learned about a pr0n chick the other day, Ariana Marie who is a freaking dead ringer for Nina Dobrev. Its like uncanny! Well, before she dyed her hair red. Too bad she doesn't do certain things.
While we're on the subject of hotties, holy sweater cows, Liv, where you been hiding those things? But I digress, what's this BS about Luke being stronger than Liv? He hardly does anything! But it at least finally gets Luke to be on board with Jo trying to merge with Kai- I guess he didn't care before because he figured he was toast, but now that Liv is saying she thinks she'll die at his hands, he's willing to go with the new plan since he doesn't want to kill her?
Still, though outwardly optimistic, the gang doesn't actually like Jo's chances since Kai freaking absorbed the Traveller spell. So, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
Meanwhile, Caroline is skeptical about the vampire blood being unable to cure cancer thing. And I can see why people are skeptical, because its like, vampire blood can cure massive trauma, but it can't cure a mundane disease? But, I think it actually makes sense. Like vampire blood allowing you to mend bones or seal up a big ass hole in you sure. But don't forget, cancer isn't exactly a foreign invader. Its a bunch of your own mutated cells. So, it make sense that it would actually just supercharge the cancer. But if you die of super-cancer, since you have vamp blood in your system, will you become a vamp when you die?
Finally, Enzo finally learns Stefan's secret and sees the real Sarah Salvatore (going by Sarah Nelson). Stefan has finally had enough and is all, whatever, tell Damon and see if it does blow up the brothers relationship, or see how Damon will react if he goes after her. But Stefan says its over now, Enzo knows the secret, so he can no longer taunt Stefan with it.
But, obviously, its not over for Enzo. He talks about revenge is a dish best served cold, but seriously, what the hell is Enzo's motivation? Stefan killed his love because she went after Damon, thinking he killed Enzo. And then Enzo killed Stefan. And turned Ivy, and continues to fuck with him. Its like, get over it already!
