PLL- Okay, Em's storyline was kinda hilarious and confusing, and kinda weird when she's the least picked on of the Liars. Basically, all that happens to her this ep is that she and Talia butt heads over every little thing. But then she gives Em some advice over her whole breakup with Paige. And then possibly flirts with her? Like she's all, "Oh, I take back what I said about the uniforms, I like you in casual!" but then she's all, "So, whatcha thinking of Ezra's butt? Nice, right?"
Aria, meanwhile is hilariously continuing to get harassed over the letter she sent to Jackie, this time A having it print out on her coffee receipt at the brew. For some reason they seem to think its Holbrook doing this, and she spends the entire ep trying to meet with an "H" who texts her, and she assumes is Holbrook. She ends up missing the first meetup because she gets roped into lunch with Jason (ha, I like how Aria tells her Ali and Holbrook may have been a thing, and he's all disgusted, "What's with the men in this town!" like he hadn't been hitting on underage girls himself!), and then "H" sends her to a flowershop were some lady gives her flowers to deliver to Hanna's mom.
The flowers contain a card that is all, "Thank you for last night, love Jason!" trying to stir up shit since Pastor Ted is back in town. Luckily, Hanna and Aria don't actually give it to Ashley. But, Pastor Ted proposes to Ashley, and given she just effed Jason the night before, she's feeling incredibly guilty and needs time to think.
Meanwhile, Spencer gets to know the guy living in the barn, who is all artsy and when she and Toby get into a fight over the events of the day, she has him regale her with stories of his European travels? And what was she doing? The Liars get an alert from Mona's laptop which leads them to a storage unit that she and Caleb break into. The see a whole bunch of preserved evidence, they assume put there by Holbrook to pile up enough evidence against them when he's ready. They also find a barrel which they think has Mona's corpse in it.
They consider tipping the cops about it via Toby, but Spence thinks they should wait until they have something more substantive. Like first, she tasks Caleb with figuring out who rented the storage unit. And she does, and its really bad- apparently the unit is under Hannah's name. Plus, a teacher at their school who rents a nearby unit has noticed the occasional smell wafting from that unit, which she knows is owned by "some blond girl". Though given she's a teacher, you'd think she'd recognize if it was Ali or Hanna or possible even Cece since presumably she would know them from school. I mean, she recognizes Caleb, and he's hardly there. Of course, maybe that's a clue to something suspicious going on with him, that she knows him from somewhere else?
