Doctor Who- Well, that was horrifying. I mean, its kinda crazy that a seeming drawing of a human nervous system on the wall could be so repulsive. I mean, until that point, maybe they just took that one cop lady and she could be rescued. But nope, she was torn apart and pieces of her displayed on the walls. Not in any recognizable way, but like stretched out skin and a bundle of nerves. It reminded me of why I was kinda scared about sci fi in the 80s, because all the stuff I'd seen save for like Star Wars was just people dying in all sorts of horrific manners. Like its amazing and terrible how many new and unique ways sci fi writers could come up with to kill someone.
But I digress, I wasn't too clear about it last episode, but I guess Clara was indeed lying about Pink being cool with her going off on adventures with the Doctor. Maybe it was obvious to some, but I wasn't sure if there had been something subtle in their conversation which indicated he was cool with it. I mean, I don't know if he's not cool, but she's basically been lying about continuing her adventures.
The Walking Dead- Interesting, its this storyline. So, the group meets Father Gabriel, whom I sure viewers are distrustful of. But honestly, in the comics, he's harmless. But who knows if they'll change things around from the show. Like so far, I don't think he's malicious, just a coward. I'm betting her just holed himself in the church and wouldn't let anyone in.
But its weird because the Terminus people are the cannibals, and they had already confronted them (which, did Tyrese not kill that one guy? That was him in the cannibal group, right?), but in the comics, they didn't even know about the cannibals until they got to the church.
Anyways, it seems like Bob was secretly bit? Hence him walking away sadly from the church? But they don't make that clear yet. Though it does seem like they're using Dale's story for him- being captured and the cannibals chopping off his one leg to eat. Which was a little worse for Dale in the comics, since he already had a leg chopped off when he got bit (which they gave to Hershel on the show). Of course, there's a different tone here, because Bob's all upset, wherein the comic Dale was cackling hysterically, because he knows he just got bitten and infected and they were eating him.
Other stuff- so Daryl and Carol go chasing after a car, because it was the same car that took Beth. Or maybe it was that it had a cross on the back window like the car that took Beth. Because the car in this ep looked liked a Chrysler 300, whereas I could sworn in the ep when Beth was taken, it was an older Cadillac that she was put in. But maybe I'm just mis-remembering.
