TV commentary:

Doctor Who- Oh, how deliciously cruel! So the Doctor ends up having to operate on a damaged Dalek, one that seems good. He's skeptical of course, but the Dalek claims it changed its ways after seeing a star being born- that even after the Daleks have destroyed millions of stars, more are still being born every day. But, turns out it was delirium from radiation poisoning. So, once the Doctor fixes it, it goes all "Exterminate" and starts slaughtering the rest of the ship they're on.

He's actually pleased in a way, to be proven right, that there's no such thing as a good dalek, that they're incapable of it. But, Clara slaps some sense into him, and they try to unlock the Dalek's repressed memories of the star's birth, to see if that will make him good again. And they unlock his memories, and the Doctor mind melds with him to get him to become good. Alas, they don't cause the Dalek to become good- but he sees into the Doctor's mind, sees his hatred of the Daleks, and how perfect a hatred it is, that it inspires "Rusty". He too, will kill all Daleks, show them no mercy.

So, at least its killing Daleks instead of living creatures. But the Doctor would have rather had turned a Dalek good.

But what the hell, just because Journey was a soldier, he refuses to let her join him? What if she wants to change? And that seems like a dick reason to not let her join him. Interesting though, so is this Pink guy Clara's new love interest, since the new Doctor is too old for her?

And really, what is up with that lady and Heaven? Obviously there's something going on, with these people involved with the doctor dying and ending up in that place. I guess it will be explained soon enough.

The Strain- Hey, that was unexpected! I figured they would eventually bump into Exterminator guy, I just didn't expect it this ep. But cool, Abraham is prolly pleased, because he finally has someone who'll listen to him and kill shit without hesitation. Of course, Eph and Nora aren't too keen on him since he was the only one to off Samwise once he got infected, even though Sam was begging them to, because he didn't want to turn. It looks like Eph is getting there though, having put bread truck guy out of his misery.

But yeah, while I expected them to eventually bump into Vasily, I didn't expect them to randomly bump into hacker chick. I mean, I figured she wasn't a one-off, since instead of having a typical nerd dude hacker being the one shutting things down, they chose like a blond gothy chick. I just didn't expect her to be involved with them, especially so soon. Wonder how they'll feel once she reveals that she's responsible for all the network failures. It seemed like she tried to tell them when they were fleeing, but the horde of rampaging vampire-worm-zombies kinda interrupted that.
