TV commentary:

Teen Wolf- Okay, I bet no one called that as the identity of the benefactor! Meredith?! Wow, talk about an out of nowhere choice! But yeah, we find out about Lydia's grams and how Meredith fits into all that. So apparently, Lydia's grandma Lorraine was a lesbian computer programmer, and her banshee powers first manifested when she predicted her girlfriend Maddy's death. So after that day, she spent the rest of her life trying to figure out how she was able to predict her love's death.

She went to all sorts of people, from scientists to psychics to figure things out. Then she found out about and brought Meredith to the lakehouse. Anyways, whatever testing they did with Meredith apparently turned her nuts and that's why she was in Eichen House.

Which, I guess since we saw that story before the reveal, we should've been suspicious. Because it sounded like her grandma died a while ago. So how could Meredith look the same if she was around when her grandma was still alive? I mean, I figured she was there age or a little older. But she looks the same as she did in that picture, which should have been a while ago. So I'm surprised it didn't raise any red flags for Lydia.

But yeah, that weird scrap of code Lydia found, it was another secret message, so they needed a cypher. I love how Stiles can be clever, but still kinda dumb. So he figures out they were going the wrong way trying to figure out this new cypher- they were trying to think of stuff having to do with Lorraine, but since this code was for Lydia, something only she could figure out, they should be focusing on her an instead. So Lydia says she and her grandma read all the time, and she was obsessed with the little mermaid. Ha, and Stiles was all, "You read the movie?!" Lydia has to correct his dumb ass that it was a book first. So the new cipher is "Ariel" since Lydia wanted to be called that all the time when she was going through that phase.

Its another list, which includes her grandma's name, and researching with Parrish they find out its a bunch of dead people, and they figure it was a previous dead pool. They were all suicides at Eichen House (which, that didn't raise any flags?) so they decide to go over there and tried to find new clues. Only its only after Stydia get tased and captured that Parrish back at the station figures out the suspicious-ness of that one orderly guy finding all the bodies. So he goes there to save them, and shoots the orderly dead. The orderly of course reveals he's not the benefactor, which is when Meredith shows up saying she was the one who came up with the list, so she's the benefactor.

Speaking of Parrish, one of the deputies tries to kill Parrish for the reward. He burns Parrish alive in the opening of the ep, but Parrish survives and shows back up at the station to subdue his would be killer. And what was worrisome was that its not like the deputy was a professional killer, he just got the list and took a chance. Indeed, the list is just being spit out constantly from several printers all over the place. So now it looks like the gang will have to worry about anyone wanting to cash in on them, not just professionals.

Also, Derek, having lost his powers, has been removed from the list. But now, Liam's price went up to 18 million. Its interesting that Derek's bounty went into Liam's. I wonder why him?

But yeah, this weeks assassin was a dj who used his music to somehow incapacitate Scott, Liam, and Malia. Ha, it reminded me of the whole When Will the Bass Drop song:

An electronica DJ assassin is kinda hilarious. (also, reading the comments from the video, wow, some fans of whatever you call the music Andy Samberg was making fun of took like real offense to the parody) But yeah, lucky for them, Mason is able to unplug the music to allow Scott to recover and fight the security guard henchman off long enough for Braeden and Derek to show up. And so yet another assassin thwarted.
