TV commentary:

The Fosters- Ah, frickin' frick, that's the cliffhanger they're leaving us on? Way to freak people out! So wow, things were going so well too. So Callie gets the Quinns to help save Girls United, and they can. So Rita asks Callie why she won't accept anything from the Quinns after Robert signs the papers. She says if there's people out there who love her, why not let them into her life. So when Callie gives her big speech thanking everyone for being at the fundraiser, she acknowledges the Quinns publicly.

Which should be a good thing- only we find out Sophia secretly stole the papers after Robert signed them and tore them up. Because she knew this would happen! Callie would finally admit she loves them and they can be a family! Which, seriously, its eerie how much they look alike- that scene when Callie slept over and they shared a bed, they looked like freaking twins! So yeah, Sophia says they can be real sister now. Callie tells Robert, and is all, so when can we get new papers for you to sign? And now he doesn't want to sign it, because he too thinks they can be a real family.

Needless to say, Callie is freaking pissed. She calls Sophia a spoiled brat and tells her the Quinns are dead to her. Which may have driven Sophia to try and kill herself!

Anyways, this whole thing has just played into Callie's complex that her life is effed and she's doomed to have everything good in her life taken away from her. So Brandon cheers her up and they kiss. Too bad he just got together with Lou.

But ah, like I was saying last week, Jesus is such a people pleaser. He was under Hayley's thumb because he doesn't want to be the bad guy. And I love how they reveal it to be a complex of his own, tracing back to his childhood. So Mariana blackmails Jesus to going to see Ana lest she tell their moms about the tattoo. So Stef takes them over to Mike's so Ana can make amends. Ana apologizes, and Mariana is rjv('Cold blooded!), basically calling her some sad stranger. So Ana is really upset, and Jesus tries to comfort her. And she doesn't let him because that's another harmful pattern she noticed that she wants to stop.

When they were younger and Ana would eff up, Mariana would be pissed, and Jesus would be the apologetic one, the one who tried to take care of their mom. And so Ana wants him to stop, to not be the one who tries to fix things all the time. And so he does end up going to the fundraiser despite Hayley not wanting him to and be with her. He takes Ana's advice to take some him time and not sacrifice himself because he thinks he needs to take care of Hayley.

Finally, Connor has a black eye, and his father claims it was because Connor ran into a door when he was trying to spank him (which in itself is weird given Connor is 13). But yeah, he was angry because Connor and Jude spent time alone in a tent unsupervised, when Jude is gay. Lena is angry that there were any accusations of impropriety and thinks Connor's dad is bullying him. And its her fine to be mad, as Jude's mother. But its not appropriate for her to use her position to fight back against Connor's dad. And the new principal tells her such. And so Lena quits!

And she was getting along with the new principal at first- the new principal is a corporate type. She knows how to keep the school solvent, but she doesn't know anything about academia, so she was really looking forward to Lena's help. So hopefully, she can take back the quitting, because it sounds like the principal and the school needs her.

Also, Jude says he and Connor did do some stuff in the tent since they were unsupervised, so Connor's dad isn't entirely wrong about something happening. So he doesn't want Lena to quit over him.
