Geez, talk about a one-two punch tonight.
Suits- So Louis fesses up to Forstman forcing him to take the money to Harvey and Jessica. She's had it and is going to fire him after they get out of the mess they're in. Not that she tells Louis this. He even goes to Donna and asks if Harvey is going to fire him, but Donna can't break his heart and truthfully tells him, "No, Harvey isn't going to fire you!" Of course, Katrina makes him realize he's being naive, and Jessica is canning his ass.
Louis eventually comes to accept this though, and all he wants to do is help the firm. He decides to fess up to what he did to the SEC, even though Jessica expressly told him not to. But it actually works in their favor- he tried to talk to Cahill, but Woodall ushers him out of there and lets him go. And so they figure out that Forstman did the same thing to Woodall and they're in collusion with each other. But they also realize that Cahill may not be crooked like Woodall, and that he is unaware of all this.
So, they go to him, and tell him about Woodall/Forstman. Cahill is of course skeptical, but they're all, "Check Woodall's accounts, if he's innocent, he'll let you do it!" So Woodall shows up in the middle of this, and so Cahill confronts him, and realizes they're telling the truth.
And so they're saved. Still, Jessica wants to fire Louis because of his many screw ups. Harvey tries to beg for Louis' job, but she will not be dissuaded. So he asks to be the one to do it then, so he and Donna can at least say goodbye. But Louis ends up resigning and leaving so they won't have to feel like crap for firing him. He leaves them a sad heartfelt note. Which man, Louis can never catch a break, can he?
Wilfred- Wow, the first half was so sad. So even though Ryan and Jenna get together, as the ep progresses, things start to fall apart. Eventually Drew shows up throwing even more monkey wrenches into the work. And that's when poor Wilfred starts freaking out- he had accepted his death, because at least he'd helped Ryan found happiness. But Ryan was losing her, and his death was going to be meaningless.
And then the poor guy dies. Ryan, Jenna, and Drew say their goodbyes, and Ryan is pretty sad, but even more upset when Jenna and Drew adopt a new dog and get back together and move back to Wisconsin.
The second part is trippy. Ryan tries to kill himself again (ha the way they set it up they make it look like you're watching the pilot again) He learns from his mom that Dexter's dad is not his real dad. She freaked out about having to play the part of the perfect lawyer wife and ran away to the dog cult, and was knocked up by the cult leader. But then she felt guilty, got back with her husband, who was willing to adopt Ryan and even help cult leader guy with lawyer stuff. His mom thinks the guy died in prison, but we find out he told Dexter's dad to say that so she wouldn't be hung up on him and move on with her life.
So ghost Wilfred leads Ryan back to the cult compound, where he meets his dad. Who is happy to meet him, but tells him all that dog god stuff was bullshit. And so Ryan has a Fight Club moment where he sees himself doing all the Wilfred stuff to himself while real dog Wilfred was around.
So he thinks Wilfred is a delusion, and avoids him for a while, but then while talking with Kristen, who notices he such a sad sack, she asks what would make him happy. And apparently what would make him happy is having the Wilfred delusion around, and so he decides to run with it and I guess be crazy?
