Jul. 7th, 2014 11:29 pmThe sky cleared up today, so got to sun poolside. Later, hit the outlet malls and got some new skechers to replace my old ones.
TV commentary:
24- Aw, that's a little disappointing! I liked the idea of the whole thing with the Russians just accidentally mussing things up for Jack and the Americans. But they're saying that guy was working with Cheng all along?! And Cheng somehow had an operative shadowing Audrey?
But color me surprised Chloe actually got away! And that Mark didn't end up biting it in that raid? It will be interesting to see how things will turn out, since things are moving fast between the Americans and the Chinese. Its like, even if they find Cheng and the device, will they be able to stop everything before its too late!? Given this is a one shot mini-series, they could go all crazy and actually have a war!
Teen Wolf- Heh, the Scira stuff was totes cute! And seriously, why is Malia going to class with the rest of them when she's been missing for several years and hasn't officially completed the previous grades? Although it sucks for her the teachers keep calling on her, she does look way cute looking all confused about everything. Lots of surprising twists though. The Yukimuras want to go back to NYC now that the Nogitsune stuff has been taken care of. After all, Kira's dad was a Columbia professor, and he doesn't want to be teaching high school in some podunk town. Of course, Kira doesn't want to go since she has all these friends now.
Her mom is all, you'll make new friends! And Kira rightly says, not like these! Though she doesn't press on from that thought, she has a lot of supernatural friends, its not like she's going to make new supernatural friends somewhere else. Well, it is possible, but what are the chances? But yeah, it'll be interesting to see how she convinces them to stay. Because she has to stay, she's just too adorkable.
And wait, is she on the Lacrosse team now?! Heh, it does let her swing something around that is not a sword.
But yeah, new kid in town, a freshman who seems to be pretty good, as good as Scott, but is only human. Well, not anymore, since Scott had to bite him to stop him from falling off the hospital roof. But ha, way to surprise the audience- there's also a new black doctor at the hospital, and it turns out he's the new kid's dad, even though Liam is white!
So onto the biggest twist. A family is butchered by a mouthless guy, but the youngest son gets away. But, Lydia and Deputy Parrish find a bunch of corpses in the family home in a refrigerated room. I was a little confused about this at first. Like, did the mouthless guy take up residence in their home and start storing bodies there. But wouldn't the cops be all over the place.
And then the son had the gross teeth, I was like, did he somehow get infected by the mouthless guy? It actually took the kid mentioning he was a wendigo, I was all, "Oh, that makes sense now!" The family were monsters and the mouthless guy was hunting them.
But as I mentioned before, Scott was forced to bite Liam to hold him up and prevent him from falling off the roof. So I guess he'll have to take this kid under his wing?
