geebsIts not that I don't have school spirit. Its just that these home games are very inconviencing. And why did it have to be a 1530 game again? That means people will be leaving the same time I have to. Unless the game is close like last time. Remind me never to take a weekend day shift during a fall quarter.
Just finished watching Riding in Cars with Boys. (Hey, it was the only thing on!) Ah, these stories about struggling families and everyone blaming themselves for whatever problems that come up, like thinking they're a terrible parent or such a burden on their loved ones, always get to me. Then in the end, they finally talk it out and realize that no one blames them and they all love each other and that's what really matters. Though they also freak me out. How am I supposed to be a father? I can hardly take care of myself! I don't even know where the water comes from when it comes out of the sink! Okay, not really. But seriously. That's a huge responsibility! Of course I'm skipping a step here. Its not like I'm in a serious relationship or anything, so its not something that's looming on the horizon. (speaking of which: take a long boat with twenty of your finest men. Sail to where the sun sets. There you will find a village. Plunder, pillage, and burn all that you find!) And see, I'm so immature too (and quite strange!). I really need to grow up. Just a little.
Ah, I didn't know Ben Affleck is in J-Lo's new video. Is it me, or did J-Lo and P. Diddy last videos sound like they were different, and thinly veiled takes on their relationship? And I heard he and Affleck had words. And now its the Top 20 countdown on VH-1. So Tony Soprano is Mariah Carey's grandpa? And "Landslide" is such a poignant song. Wait, is one of the Dixie Chicks pregnant in that video?
