Degrassi- Holy cow, Becky's mom, what the eff? So after all the crap Becky went through with Realm of Doom and Hunter going all crazy on her (ha, it was funny that he figured out who she is because she was always talking about Jesus), she fesses up to her mom how miserable she is. So her mom apologizes and is all reassuring, then is all, "you know what would make things less tense at home? Lying on the stand and saying your brother is not a rapist!" Wow, what a frakking krant! Her daughter is at her emotional breaking point, and then basically seizing the opportunity to get her daughter to perjure herself?!
Looks like things are turning around for Drew, despite getting into a fight with Dallas. Imogen tells him he was wrongfully terminated and that he should demand his job back. Alas, that doesn't go well at all. And Miles spots that cute reporter chick giving Drew her card asking if she ever wants to talk about what happened to call her. So Miles begs Drew not to ruin his family, and implies if he plays it smart, he can come off well. So he confronts Mr H, but doesn't blackmail him or anything, just asks for what's fair, a good recommendation for a former employee. So he does, and Drew manages to make up with both Drew and Claire.
And things go well for Zig too. He scared to see his mom, afraid she won't forgive him, and it affect him at his new job. Thankfully, his boss sees he's having issues and manages to talk him down and doesn't fire him or anything. So in the end, Zig sees his mom and they're all good.
Suits- Ha, its funny how this show can do the same thing over and over again, but come up with new ways to do it. Its kinda brilliant, actually. Like the thing with Louis and the new guy. Its like how many times can you do the whole Louis being all, "I let my guard down, and you took advantage, never again! We are enemies!" But the way it played out was kinda brilliant. Jeff trying to get to Jessica via Louis. And the play the whole situation for laughs. But eventually, Jeff stops fooling around and sets things right with Jessica. Or at least as right as things can be in their situation.
Only, Louis finds out that Malone was fooling him. But, since he was unaware Jeff and Jessica used to date, he assumes Jeff is making some power play, trying to rise up by banging the boss. And, Jeff can't tell the truth, out of respect for Jessica. So he's stuck unable to fix things with Louis.
And then with Harvey and Mike. Things get bad because Rachel's ex wants Harvey to dig dirt up on Mike to take him out. And of course, we know he can't do that. But Harvey obviously can't reveal that to Logan, which the little douche reads as being too emotionally attached to Mike. I mean, obviously Harvey and Mike do care for each other, even if they are an opposing sides right now. So there's truth in what Logan is saying. He just doesn't know the thing with Mike is so big it will ruin more than just Mike.
But Jessica is right. Yes, Harvey did what he did to protect Mike, even if he did it in a shitty way. But he (and well everyone on this show) is such an arrogant douche they can't even say they were being helpful without saying it in the most asshole way possible.
Eventually, its Rachel who gets Logan to back off, as a favor to her, because he was a big douche to her back in the day. I can see Mike being worried though. I mean, he shouldn't have to worry about Rachel doing anything. But if Logan being a dick didn't clue Mike in to the guy still having a thing for Rachel, him stopping because Rachel asked him to sure would. Yes, Rachel claims he has to do it because he owes her. But the fact that works on him, that he is trying to make amends to her, that he is trying to show he's a changed man means he is wanting Rachel to see him in a better light.
