PLL- Ah, interesting return for Ali. So the Liars expect her to tell Holbrook everything, but then she receives a text and suddenly goes off book, spinning a tale of how she had been kidnapped this whole time, but she escaped, and the Liars had been hiding her in the woods for the past month.
Heh, after, the Liars are all, "What the shit, Ali?", but eventually she fesses up to a mysterious threatening text about NY, so she lied to the cops, ostensibly to protect Aria. And surprisingly enough, it doesn't take too long to learn who sent the text, Mona outright admits to Ali she sent it when Ali goes to pay her respects to whoever died in her place. Mona promises to make her life a living hell now that she's back.
Aria meanwhile is freaking about killing Shana, hearing mysterious violin music everywhere. But, it might just be Mike working on a project. Oh, and it looks like he's back with Mona.
Toby's also back, poking holes in Melissa's story (and poking Spencer's holes. HA!). She claims she came back because she saw Toby in London, Toby says he went to her address, but Wren answered the door.
Also, things are tense at the Dilaurentis house. Ali's mom is missing- well, we know she's dead, but the characters don't know that. So her (soon to be divorced) husband is desperately trying to find her, because like her daughter just came back from the dead, and she should be there. He thinks Jason has something to do with it, and the Liars are suspicious of him too, and he's mad everyone is so suspicious of him.
Eventually, the Dilaurentis' new dog (whom Jessica had adopted before she disappeared) sniffs out her body, so at least that didn't take too long to know she was dead. I did feel sorry for Ali, like despite the antagonism between her and her mom, she seemed to want to see her after her return, and she never did.
