Degrassi- Dang it, the eps are a week delayed on the website now. well, they were always a week delayed, but if you need the episode number, you could find it. But now they started putting random characters in the url to prevent that. Anyways, some good stuff, some bad stuff. The Tristan stuff. It was total secondhand embarrassment the way he carried on in the secret group. But apparently the teacher guy is dropping major hints he like Tristan, and Zoe rightly warns him he should stay away from the guy, because its only going to lead to trouble.
The other storylines were better. Poor Mike is furious over his treatment by the cops, and he only gets even madder when he perceives similar treatment at the fair. He blows up at a judge, which Alli is upset about, because she thinks it blew her chances to win. She's not unsympathetic to his plight, but he kept it from her initially, covered it up and didn't talk it out with her, so it got all bottled up and he blew up at a sensitive moment.
But, Alli's dad sets him straight- after all their family is Indian. He tells his own tale of being detained at the airport. And he says Mike should be furious at his treatment, but he needs to fight properly. So, he apologizes to the judge, and Alli ends up winning and is so thankful she finally decides to be his gf. And, he's going to file an official complaint with the police directly, rather than taking it out on everyone willy nilly.
And aw, the Drew/Claire stuff. Drew has a great date with Eden, but then Claire ends up scaring her off. Drew is all, "What the shit?!" She apologizes and says she knows she has a bf, but she can't help but feel this way for him. And she's sad he chose Eden instead of "Annabella". But then he reveals he knows Annabella was her the whole time- its just "Annabella" has a boyfriend. And if she didn't, things would be different.
So, Claire talks to Eden and tells her to give Drew another chance. So she does, but ha, Drew says he is not in that place because he's in love with another girl. Eden tells him she hopes it works out, but Drew says it won't, but he appreciates the sentiment.
Community- Ha, the Jeff/Annie shipper in me feels justified about this ep. So Annie is clearly jealous about the whole Jeff/Britta thing, and then in the end, its Jeff's feelings for Annie that get the door open. But yeah, his mind going to the whole "Milady/Milord" thing has got to be a nod to the Jeff/Annie shippers, since that's the name of the biggest Jannie communities.
Vampire Diaries- Interesting are they saying its truly over between them? So the Travelers give Stefan and Elena visions of a perfect, normal life together. And while they loved the way they felt in the visions, it wasn't real. It sounds like they're finally over each other and are fine with remaining just friends.
Alas, she says she hopes she and Damon can be friends, but Damon says he can never just be friends with her. He loves her too much. Actually, what the shit, its like he doesn't know what he wants. When Elena is all, she loves him, he's all, we can't be together because he's bad for her. And when she says, okay, let's be friends, he pulls that whole, he can't just be only a friend. Its like, its one or the other, dude. And choosing to just stay away is stupid.
We do get a rundown on Traveler history. After Silas and Q did all that business, it caused a schism in the Traveler society. Some broke off, and became witches. Then they cursed the Travelers so if they ever gather in large groups together, bad juju happens. But, they can't get around it if they possess bodies. A bunch of them together in possessed bodies doesn't invoke the church.
So, they've been slowly infiltrating Mystic Falls. Interesting, so Tyler un-possessed Liz, but they cut away and made it clear he himself got possessed. Did the Sheriff get re-possessed again too? Also, Liv's whole thing in the beginning where she has the boys stab themselves with the Traveler knife to prvoe they aren't possessed, she's all, "Don't worry, you only hae to do it once!" No you wouldn't! Since there's apparently no protection from being possessed, they need to be checked each time they're separated from each other!
But yeah, whatever the Travelers did to release Markos messed up the Other Side. Everyone can see each other now, and Kol(!) tries to get Matt to warn Bonnie. Matt also gets to see Vicki, and tries to escape with her (what was he going to do, she's a ghost!) but she gets pulled away by a mysterious force like Kat did. Interesting, are they saying this is what happened to Katherine?
Because I know people were pissed that she didn't go to the other side, she was taken. And people were all, "What the hell, are they saying she went to an even darker hell, because she was so evil?" And its like, she's done some bad stuff, but pretty much par for the course compared to all the other denizens of the other side we've seen. So it was going to be BS if she was punished more severely in the afterlife. But if the whole being grabbed was a precursor of things to come, then that's fine.
