Community- The GIJoe parody was awesome. And really freaking accurate! I mean, since it was drawn in the vein of GIJoe and wasn't using original footage with their stuff inserted in, I applaud them for getting the details right- the uniforms, the vehicles. They didn't do any shortcuts and just draw vehicles that look like they were from GIJoe, they drew the actual ones. The Cobras were flying trouble bubbles, rattlers, night ravens, firebats, the opening battle even had them in hurricanes. The fact that they not only drew the real things, but they actually had variety to me shows dedication to the parody.
Like the intro:
They manage to do a really good pastiche of several of the intros throughout the cartoon's history.
And that is why to me Community, is hands down a way better geek show than friggin BBT. Big Bang Theory, they make fun of nerds and geeks. Its all, "here's this nerdy thing, let's have a silly conversation about it where we act real nerdy!" Its basically, "Ha, look at what nerds these nerds are!" Community on the other had, makes clever references to geek stuff without poking fun at it.
OUAT: Wonderland- Oh, thank goodness! With them being canceled, I was worried we'd end on some unresolved cliffhanger. Though I suppose with OUAT existing, they could always wrap things up there, like X-Files did with both Millenium and the Lone Gunmen. I hear PLL is going to do that with Ravenswood.
But I digress, I suppose they knew the writing was on the wall, so they got to resolve the series nice and neat. So, with Jafar all powerful, he makes his dad love him, but only to know how it feels to be killed by someone you love, stabbing his father in the chest. He puts the vorpal blade back in the jabberwocky, and then taunts Will by resurrecting Ana as he promised, but making her love him instead.
The heroes fight a losing battle, and he ends up capturing Alice. He leaves them be when he finds out Cyrus and Amara are heading to the Well of Souls. Which allows Will to use the magic of true love to not only get through the force field imprisoning him, but kiss Anastasia to break her out of the spell.
So, Jafar catches up with them, but its all a trick. He thinks they've gone to the well to get real ultimate power and stops them from returning the water in Amara to the well. He grabs it and absorbs it, and they reveal their true plan- to have him do such a thing so the nyx would curse him. And just like in Aladdin, Jafar is turned into a genie.
All the magic he did was undone, so as Alice and Cyrus feared, Ana dies again! But, since Anastasia died before her time, this time the Nyx allows them to use the water to bring her back.
So they all live happily ever after- Cyrus goes back to the real world with Alice, they get married and have kids. Meanwhile, Will and Ana now rule Wonderland as the White King and Queen. So I'm satisfied with how it all ends.
Suits- Hmm, so Mike's chose his lot. He had hacker girl break in and put him in the bar. Which I'm sure will lead to trouble. It was a long and stressful road getting there. Mike tells the gang about the offer. Harvey's obviously upset, and one of the cases of the week ends up seeming like the solution is for Mike to quit. Some lawyer guy basically tries to extort their new IPO. Harvey unintentionally gives the idea to looking into Hessington Oil, where he finds out what Mike did with the associate that left, and threatens to go to the bar. Which, since Mike's not on the bar would expose him.
But Mike exposes the guy's dirty secrets and threatens to go to the bar against him, saying its his last day as a lawyer anyways so its not like the guy can go tit for tat. So the guy drops it.
Still, this ordeal shows him how much he enjoys lawyer stuff and that Harvey needs him, so he has Lola insert him into the bar so he can continue at the firm.
The secondary case involves Katrina getting fired when she covers for Louis, who's all mopey over his breakup. Rachel fesses up that Katrina (and herself) were covering for Louis, and implores Jessica to not fire them for loyalty, which she supposedly values. Which, is Katrina unfired, they never actually said.
In the end, Harvey wants to tell Scottie the secret, but Donna tells him not to. She likes them together, but she says Scottie is always looking for a reason to fight, and this will just give her ammo. Which is kinda confusing, because does she want them together or not. If she thinks they're always looking for reasons to fight, wouldn't that mean she thinks Harvey and Scottie's relationship is doomed? Because I don't think they can have a true future together with this secret hanging over them.
