The Fosters- Argh, that ending! When Brandon tells his parents everything, and it dawns on them how effed everything is.
And it is. Stef does get an inkling of the bribery earlier, when Ana comes around asking for 10K to keep quiet about "her son" giving her $1000 to recant her story. Which, I found it interesting that Stef quizzed Jesus on it. Did Stef think Ana was referring to Jesus when she said "her son"? Like if it was Jesus, wouldn't she say "my son"?
But yeah, Vico's plan comes to fruition. He has Callie nominated for Winter Queen, then buys booze for everyone and has them claim Callie bought it with her fake ID in exchange for them voting for her. He plants a fake ID of her in her purse, and puts texts on her phone that make it look like she was telling people to spread the word about booze for votes.
And man, what a two face that Principal Sanchez is! First she's getting onto Lena about how Callie is not a joiner, but when this stuff comes to light, she is so ready to believe the worst of Callie. In the end, Brandon ends up falling on his sword, claiming he set Callie up since he couldn't prove it was Vico. Wyatt was back in town, and Brandon wouldn't stop pressuring Callie, so she lies and said they slept together when they ran away. So at least there is a narrative to back up his claim of being mad at her. Not that anyone knows about Callie's lie, so its no like anyone knows why he's mad at her, other than he says he was mad that she rejected him. But then changed his mind and came clean because he realizes now she doesn't feel the same way and it was all in his head and its unfair to blame her for that.
So Stef has them arrest Brandon, but Callie runs to him before he's taken away to say she made the Wyatt thing up. I mean, I get she feels bad for him because he took the fall for her. (Of course, its his fault she's Vico went after her) But isn't that prolonging that whole mess that is their love? Like she said, she can't be with him and at the same time be part of his family. That's why she told that lie in the first place, because he insisted she tell him something that would make him stop loving her.
But yeah, hopefully Vico gets what's coming to him. I mean, trying to get Callie thrown back in juvie is way over the line. He is effing with someone's life there!
Interesting that the twins storylines are both centered around someone being crazy. Its clear Zach's mom needs help, but he continues to think she's just eccentric. But her behavior at the dance will hopefully make him see she is not okay at all. And Jesus, off his meds, is just getting way too aggressive and angry. Which is a huge turn off for Emma, what with him being all aggressively trying to protect her from some dumb jocko she's dating. Its like, way to scare her!
