TV commentary:

The Americans- Heh, rjv('Cold blooded!') Wow, that's crazy how much menace Elizabeth was able to convey at the warehouse with just a look. I mean, she did have a crowbar too, but its not like she waved it in a threatening manner, just had it at her side, acting all, "We're just talking here!" But wow, talk about compartmentalization. She was already screwed up over the other spy couple's daughter getting killed, but then she has no qualms about threatening the guy's kids. Or it could be because of recent events, that she knows how effective a threat that is.

Heh, I'm not surprised she burned that letter. I understand trying to keep her promise, but is her friend friggin crazy?! I mean, I get wanting to let her children know the truth, but what good would that do? And how much danger would that put her kids in? They're sure to freak out, and what might the KGB do if they found out? Or the US, if the kid turns the letter in. Like they wouldn't grill the kid, trying to figure out if he knows more. But yeah, for Elizabeth though, that letter risks exposure for her and her family.

But heh, since its the 80s, its interesting the things we take for granted now. Like when Stan figured out what that one nutcase was going to do, he had to have the guy at the company call freakin 911, while he had to run to try and stop the guy. Its funny, because nowadays, he'd just give someone a call on his cell and they'd be able to mobilize quicker. And he tells Nina he loves her. Sucker!

Is it me, or is there something weird with that new guy in the KGB? I guess its because he seems too slick? Like I can't tell if he's hitting on her, or if he is doing some sort of weird spying for perhaps another section of the KGB? I guess the other thing throwing me off is I forget she's working at an Embassy, not like some sort of spy agency. I mean, obviously there's spying going on, but not everyone is privy to everything. So its not like he would have any idea what Nina and her boss are up to, and with them being tight lipped, I guess it would be quite curious/mysterious.

Oh, and Paige's new friend that she "randomly" met on the bus, that's totally the unseen protection the KGB set up, right?
