Walking Dead- Calm the eff down, people! I mean, I knew Tyrese was going to survive that swarm, because I figured they were just doing that one scene from the comic but transplanting it here. Its like, you don't even see him die yet, he's just going to town on all those zombies. Sure, it seems like he's as good as dead, but on this show, they don't do assumptions. They're not gonna pass up the opportunity to have someone die in a gory and shocking way. Unless you effin see him get bitten and torn apart, he's alive. But yeah, at the time, you have all these people be all, "Oh, the ratio is restored, they can only have one black guy!" and all "Eff walking dead, killing off the people of color!" They didn't do jack yet, save your anger for until they actually do that!
Like they were all, "OMG, they killed Glenn!" No, they made Glenn sick. He's not effin dead yet! Its called suspense and drama! If main characters don't get actually affected by this disease (and what the eff, I didn't see anyone be all, "OMG, they're killing Sasha!") then its not as compelling! Heh, I'm such an elitist a-hole when it comes to this show. Like I wonder if I would act like this had I actually read GoT, but its like, even though I know the show is deviating from the comic, I get so unreasonably angry when I see people jumping to conclusions, I just wanna be all, "Shut the eff up, you don't know what you're talking about, you're wrong!" Like when they thought Maggie was as good as dead when they first introduced her just because Glenn liked her. Had I not read the comics, maybe I would jump to such conclusions.
Actually, I guess I am sorta that way with GoT, because even though I didn't read the books, I know enough, so I do also get annoyed when people spew off theories that are wrong. Its funny, because most people who read the book versions of shows are mad when the showrunners don't get things right. I'm fine with the showrunners deviating, I'm all, "That's an interesting take on the subject matter!" But it just bugs me when people who don't know what's gonna happen spout theories that are wrong. Maybe its a secondhand embarrassment thing, like I'm all, "Man, will these people feel friggin stupid later!" But then again, since I accept that the showrunners may change things, they could be totally right. So maybe its I'm worried the showrunners will deviate in the way they guess, which makes me feel like these non-readers will think they know the material better than me.
But I digress, interesting, so its Carol who killed those people? I was hoping it was Lizzie. Like when Carol sent Lizzie in because she had gotten sick but Lizzie still had her knife on her, I was thinking, "don't leave her in there, she's armed! She'll put down the others!" But I guess the whole talk about Lizzie being weak was not to set up her killing the sick to prove Carol wrong, but the fact that Carol would say something like that and make hard decisions makes her the kind of person who would kill them. Her breakdown with the water makes it seem like she's guilty.
But what did Rick see that makes him suspect her? Or did she figure out it was Lizzie and is covering for her? Because I had to re-watch that scene again when Rick was examining the blood on the door, and the only thing I can figure he sees is that the hand print is kinda low on the door, below the handle, as if a kid left it there. Maybe its just wishful thinking, because Carol doing it doesn't make sense to me, and it would be more interesting to have a crazy kid. Which they did do in the comics only, it was those twin boys, maybe they're switching it to girls to fool the long time readers (just like they transplanted the Tyrese surrounded in the prison yard and miraculously killing everything and surviving to this scene in this ep). I guess we'll see if they did if Lizzie kills Mika and Carl ends up putting her down. Though that may be too shocking for TV to have children killing each other.
If it is Carol, it would be interesting to see how Tyrese reacts to that. I'm kinda amused because they just cut that part out from the show- where Carol and Tyrese become a couple, until Michonne shows up and he cheats on Carol with her and Carol finally loses it. Of course, TV show Carol is a way better person than comic book Carol.
Oh, and I realize they can't stop Herschel, because he can't stand idly by when there's sick people to tend to, but he's like one of two doctors, and Dr S was already sick. Its like, sure, he wants to take care of them, but if both doctors die, then the rest of the people have 0 doctors!
