Degrassi- Weird, Miles has a sister? And she's a cast member? I guess its not too weird they add a sister out of the blue, they had Becky's brother disappear out of the blue. But heh, I totally did not realize until the dance that the dude Zoe got the pills for Drew from was him. He looks totally different. Interesting though, with both of them not liking Miles and Maya getting together, are they going to team up to try and break them up?
And really, are they still drawing out this thing Alli has with Frenchy? Like he tried to show he was an okay, totally not abusive guy to Jenna, Claire, and Connor at the dance, and he seemed successful. Which seems like a bad thing, because he's totally going to boil over and do something at some point I'm guessing.
Vampire Diaries- Wait, are travellers and romani the same? Like they have similar traits, but Silas refers to Nadia and her buddy as "Gypsies, oh wait, the PC term is Traveler!" I thought the correct PC term is Romani, since Travelers are from Ireland, and Nadia and her companion look and speak like people one thinks of as Romani, and Matt and the Bekster ran into her in Eastern Europe.
Anyways, this ep is an example of why the gang shouldn't keep important info from each other. Like I get Damon didn't want to drag Elena back into a whole big mess, he wanted her to have some normalcy. But given the fact that Silas looks like Stefan (or rather Stefan looks like Silas), I think warning her that Silas is up and around and looking like Stefan would trump that, given he could do as he did in this ep and go up to her pretending to be Stefan. He ends up compelling her to become angry at Damon and kill him. So when Damon shows up to warn her, she ties him up under the guise of sexy times. When she interrogates him about what's been going on back home, he tells her about Stefan and she gets angry and tries to stake him. He recognizes Silas put a whammy on her and manages to get her to fight the compulsion, and she eventually sticks a poker through her leg to keep her from doing something bad to him. However, even then the desire to kill him becomes too strong and she tries to blow them up, but he gets her to fight it by focusing on helping Stefan.
Which all the Stelena fans were so happy about. Of course, at the end Elena is all, "We'll find Stefan and make sure he's all right, but you're the I love and want to be with", so the Delena fans can't be too upset.
Also going on in the college, Elena and Caroline figure out with them covering up Megan's death as a suicide, and it being Elena's dad/uncle's former alma mater, maybe they have a secret council that knows about vamps and are covering things up. So she takes a step from Damon's playbook and resolves for she and Caroline to infiltrate the council and hide in plain sight. They learn of a teacher who may be on it, and sneak into a class of his to get to know him, but he recognizes they're freshman and throws them out. So they're all embarrassed and humiliated, but eventually he seeks them out later and says he knew her father and respected him, and it seems like maybe she might have her in.
But since all this Silas business is calling her back, she leaves Caroline to take care of it. Really, she's going to leave her there alone?! They have vervain and stuff, what if they realize what she is and kill her before she has a chance to make her case for being a good person? Like that new guy Jesse she likes, the dude who gave them fliers last ep, he seems like he's in on things, and extremely suspicious! Caroline should have some backup.
Back at MF, Katherine doesn't get too far before flagging down someone who had been compelled by Silas. But luckily Matt finds her and he and the Germ go on the run with her. There are a few close calls, since they had to stop to get gas and cold medicine since poor Kat caught a sinus infection, and they make it to their hiding place, an old camp site Jeremy and Elena used to go to. Unfortunately, Elena spills the beans about it when Stylus showed up at Whitmore, all, "Oh yeah, Jer got expelled and ran off, any idea where he might go near route 9?"
He encounters Matt, who is immune to Silas' compulsion since he had someone possessing him, who as I said earlier Silas refers to as a traveler. He snaps Matt's neck, which breaks the possession, but luckily he was wearing the protecto-ring, and we learn how it works finally- it takes the wearer's spirit to the other side a ways from their body, and they come back when they get back into their body. They start out further and further with each death, but they are at least drawn to it. He learns this from Bonnie, and learns about her death, and her dad's murder and is reassuring towards her, since they're both on the other side, it finally gives her someone to hug and cry into. Of course Matt realizes right as he's about to come back alive that he'll totally forget this conversation and go back to not knowing Bonnie is dead. He pleads with her to fess up to the rest of them, but she non-answers as he comes back to life.
Meanwhile, the Germ is fighting Silas. Since he was made to fight Silas, he's immune to Silas' tricks. And while Silas does have mind control, and has to feed on blood, he's not that much stronger than a human, whereas Jeremy is a vampire hunter "who also works out". He trounces Silas, but Silas lets him now that while the Germ is better physically, Silas is actually immortal, and stabs himself to wound Jeremy. But luckily, Kat shows up with a shotgun and blows Silas away to save him. Of course though, Silas manages to slip away.
After he gets away and is feeding on one of his puppets, he's met by the "Travelers" and the guy is all they're here to stop him. But turns out Nadia isn't actually with her family on the whole stop Silas plan, and kills her fellow Traveler. I guess Silas has a new ally?
Oh, and Liz, Damon, and Elena find the safe, it was brought back up from the quarry, but they open it up and find a body that's not Stefan. I think it was the Traveler? But yeah, Stefan is free and disoriented, and the previews would have you believe Ripper Stefan is back.
