geebs | (no subject)

Ugh, been feeling kinda sick since Fry-day. But I've been drinking juice, getting sleep, taking cold medicine, so hopefully I'll get over it soon. ~~mike_b~~, I mean,

lilspicy (sorry, I always confuse that icon for mikeb!) mentioned the theme song to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, which reminded me of freshman year history class back in high school (woah, that was about 12 years ago!!) The teacher put us into groups and we had to do a musical presentation on a country. Talk about embarassing. Our group had decided to do it to the tune of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It was kinda lame. But the teacher thought it was so clever that she made us do an encore. Ugh. I can't seem to remember what country we did though. I do know I re-used the Genghis Khan costume I had for an earlier presentation. Which was also in this class, where we had to pretend to be a famous person in history and give a presentation and then answer questions as if we were them. Talk about a lot effort. Its like, couldn't we just take tests and write reports?
