Warehouse 13- Some interesting reveals there. So that kid is Polly Walker's son? We learn that she and her son (and I assume Spike?) are 500 years old. Her plan is supposedly less malicious than it initially seemed. She wants to find the Philosopher's stone in order to break the curse or whatever is causing them to be immortal. I mean, she gives the usual reasonable explanation of why immortality is a curse when the gang is all, "why would you want to become un-immortal?!", citing not being able to get close to people because all your loved ones wither and die. (Heh, well not all her loved ones, her son is still around!)
Of course, given Myka's cancer, the idea of someone throwing that away does anger her despite Charlotte telling her its not all its cracked up to be. This leads her to finally confess she has cancer. Her imaginary ideas of how Pete would react were kind weird. Like the first time, when Pete broke down immediately, I figured, that had to be a dream. But her other scenarios, were Pete would be angry at her for having cancer, does she really think her best friend would react like that?
Anyways, since Artie, Myka and Pete had actually tried to save Charlotte's life (before they knew she was immortal) she decides to come clean with them. Since her previous experience with the Warehouse was very hostile, the care and kindness they showed her seemed to change her mind about them and think maybe she can trust them and not go around their backs. Which, turns out her son went off script. He uses a artifact to glamer Jinx into being busy, then to trick Claudia into letting him in the Warehouse and over-riding the bronzing chamber so he could free Paraclesus, played by Giles.
Interesting, it seemed like the artifact he used relied on the power of suggestion. I wonder if he knew about that one guy, or if by just saying "OMG, you can't be around, she killed you" when pretending to be Jinx, she filled in the blanks with that guy because it fit the description. Anyhoo, Paraclesus ends up bronzing Claudia as revenge to what the Warehouse had done to him, and we end on that note.
