geebsAnother weekend. Uncle C dropped by Atlanta on Thursday, sans the wife and kid. It was cool, because he wanted an excuse to try out the Fogo De Chao here. They had just opened up one in Chicago. So we went there, and he paid. Hey, free Fogo is always good. Then I showed him around Georgia Tech. He's going up to Athens today to visit Aaron at UGA.
Had this weird dream last night. I was in this small diner on some planet on the outskirts of an expansive space empire. Anyways, I was there with a friend eating and one of the waitresses (or the only waitress) was the owners' daughter. So I was hitting on her when her father caught me and was about to get all pissed when some imperials walked in the diner. Apparently, they were there to subjugate the local peoples. While the father and I were talking with them, we distracted them enough for his daughter to sneak away. The rest of the people were all freaked out because they were backwater and the imperials had all these weapons. I said to the people that their fear was unfounded and proved it by fighting and killing all the imperials who had arrived. Anyways, there was more travelling to other planets were I fought more imperials, including this part where I was taking an elevator down with a bunch of wounded fellow soldiers. It was a three hundred story building crawling with imperial soldiers, and thus a long and scary elevator ride. I had gotten a heavy machine gun with what seemed to be an infinite ammo supply to cover our escape so I was just firing like crazy whenever the elevators would stop and the doors would open.
Anyways, I later get a call from the diner owner. He and his wife want me to find his daughter, because she apparently used the escape as a way to run away from home. They tried calling her at the number of the place she was supposed to go, but she wasn't there. And when the father had caught me earlier in the dream, his daughter had passed me the phone number to her cellphone that her parents didn't know she had. So it was off to find the daughter, but I woke up before that.
