TV commentary:

Person of Interest- So we finally learn what the deal is. The purpose of the virus was to initiate a fail safe in which the machine reboots and calls out to a specific number for an admin. And whoever answers has full administrative access. And that company that British guy works for wants to be on the other end of the phone.

Interesting, so the machine adopted a fake persona for itself as head of a telecom company to buy up all the phones in midtown so that company couldn't get control of them. Even more impressive that it managed to do this despite Finch programming the machine to basically kill itself every night. (Which disgusts Root to her very core) The machine seems to have gotten around this by printing out its code every night and having a pool of data entry folks type it back in.

Its always nice to see Sarah Shahi and Amy Acker on this show. But the ending was interestingly ambiguous. So Root definitely did answer the call and spoke to something. But then Finch re-routed the call to the phone near Reese. So do both Root and Reese have administrative access? Does Reese's supersede hers?

And look like the investigation into Beecher put Carter in HR's sights. as they've just framed her for a bad shoot. I would think she would quickly figure out the one guy is in on it and not buy the whole, "You said you saw a gun on him, and I was agreeing, but I didn't actually see it!"

Nikita- Hey, Old Spice guy (the first one, not Chris Rock's father) is back. So the team, despite having the SEALs sent after them, manage to destroy the black box, and Alex maybe, just maybe has gotten through to Sam. But their victory is short lived, because they just figured Amanda has teamed up with the Shop. Who apparently need Michael and Nikita alive for something.

Also saw Iron Man 3 today. It was pretty good. Some interesting twists and turns. Though much like Kate Mara was randomly in Iron Man 2 for like 5 seconds, Rebecca Mader shows up as a random henchman, never to be seen again. Its like they couldn't have had her around a little more being all evil and British and stuff? Also random, other female henchman is up there in the "big" credits along with people who had far much more screen time. Also in the picture credits, Patty the hooker from "My Name is Earl", which again is kinda random given how little she is in the movie.
