Dec. 26th, 2012 09:47 pmWent to Mahattan with
isabel79 and
7500centfish and her friend. EDIT: Now with pics fixed! Hit Bryant Park and Chelsea Market and Rockerfeller Center:

Got this Stark hat from the HBO store since I needed a hat since my hood kept slipping off. And it matched my jacket.

Ice skating at Bryant Park. I myself didn't go skating, but I did snap a pic as I passed by.

The tree at Rockerfeller center.
After, we ate dinner at WD-50, apparently its run by one of the guys on Top Chef? Wylie Dufrense? Apparently its a molecular gastronomy restaurant, whatever that is. Since it was a tasting menu, they amusingly changed our utensils with each course. It was delish, but not very filling, but these restaurants usually aren't.

Foie Gras.

Cod on top of smoked mashed potatoes.

Since I said I was allergic to shrimp and shellfish, I got something different from the girls. Instead of whatever they got, I got a piece of mad eye mackerel sushi on top of a tuber made to look and taste like sticky rice.

A pine-nut cassoulet, whatever that is. The little pots are hot, and so was it. Not spicy, like actual hot.
Anyways, after, we got to actually meet Wiley Dufresne and take a pic with him.
Then we went home and got soaked. Stopped by a local bakery to get some cupcakes to fill us up.
