True Blood- Hmm, that's a lot of restraint/discipline Jessica's bodyguards show given they didn't blow away Jason when he shot her in the head. Granted, that didn't do anything to her, but I would think they're kinda sucky, reaction wise. I mean, they're supposed to be bodyguards, protecting her and Bill from all threats. Given said threats could include other supernaturals who are way fast, they should've taken out Jason as soon as he drew his gun because they have to be that fast if they're any good.
And what the, since when did Hoyt become such a joiner? I mean, I guess he's still smarting over the whole Jessica stuff, but getting in with the supe-killers? Of course, we all know how this is going to play out- they're going to somehow attack/threaten Jess, which will motivate him to turn on them. Though again, it would be silly if they did manage to be a legitimate threat to her because 1) she's a vampire and 2) if they do attack/grab her, then her bodyguards really suck.
Ha, so with Roman dead the rest of the Authority fall in line under Salome and Russell. That one Eastern European guy protests, but Russell quickly decapitates him. He gets everyone to drink from thatvial jar container that's bigger than a vial, but smaller than a jar of Lilith's blood Roman had been passing around in previous eps. Hilariously, Steve's all, whatever, "I'm a tree in the wind, I'm just happy to be included so sure". Bill and Eric are concerned with one of them being all, "should we drink it?" and the other all, "Eh, its just vampire blood, we'll be fine!" and then cut to the new Authority folks wandering around New Orleans tripping balls.
They eat a karaoke engagement party sort of thing, which conjures Lilith, who shows up in the form of a hot naked lady. But, it might be a shared hallucination, because the ghost of Godric comes to see Eric and tells him its a hallucination, and to snap Nora out of it. There might be truth to that, as Eric stops seeing Lilith after Godric confronts him.
Its interesting though, how a war is definitely coming, and we're seeing both sides building up to that. What with the supe-killers going out at night vigilante-ing, and now the Authority well on its way to reversing its peacefully co-existing with humans stance. At first Martha tells Alcide is wrong, she asked JD and he denies any v-drinking. But then he secretly meets with the pack and says his powerful ally (Russell) says there's a war coming and they need to side with the vamps, and they should take V. He gets caught trying to offer some to Emma, so it seems like Martha believes Alcide now. And interesting, so it seems like its Russell's plan to menace humanity, but was he even aware of random folks starting to go around killing supernaturals?
(And ha, I'm amused how Alcide's training session with Rikki was always one step away from him effing her, but can you blame him, she's hot!)
But getting back to supernaturals, the fae examine Sookie and are all, "since you're half fae, the magic in you is finite, so you should be careful not to use it all up". Unfortunately, they and Jason are apparently oblivious idiots, because they miss the fact that when Sookie is all, "So, if I use up my magic, I'll be normal" she's practically already trying to figure out how fast she can blow through it and be done with all this BS in her life. In the end, she just starts shooting her fae blasts into the night. Which is moronic, because even if she uses up all her magic, its not like folks like Russell will be all, "Oh, you're not magic anymore, I'll just leave you alone now" He'd eat her regardless, and without magic she can't protect herself.
Speaking of, Holly Cleary and Arlene have a nice talk when the latter is watching her wedding video all sad over he breakup with Terry. Actually its sad in multiple ways. I mean, she's reminiscing about the good times, but that was during the time Sookie was missing, so you have Jason kinda sad about her disappearance (though not sad enough to not put the moves on some hottie wedding guest). And then you have Lafayette and Jesus acting all couple-y, and now the latter is dead. Actually, I'm trying to figure out if that is common knowledge, I forgot how he died.
In any case, Holly finally sets Arlene straight all, "You know how much crap we've seen, and you think Terry is just crazy, there could actually be an evil spirit after him!" Terry and Scott Foley are in the middle of some clearing, ready to die, but then the thing just shows up and laughs at them. So, Terry goes nuts and tries to kill himself, but Scott Foley (sorry, I forget his character's name, and I'm too lazy to look it up right now) convinces him to fight, so he's heading back to Bon Temps. With Holly seemingly offering her help to Arlene, I wonder if they'll cook up something to try and get rid of the spirit.
Oh, Lettie Mae disowns Tara and Pam comforts her just enough before sending her back to work the pole. And Jesus' creepy uncle (or is it grandfather?) captures Lafayette when he goes to visit looking for answers. The uncle or grandpa intends to kill him and take the magic Jesus gave him and put it in the son that preggers lady who we've seen around him is carrying. But! She ends up backstabbing him for some unknown reason that we'll have to wait for the next ep to find out.
