All this bloodbending in Legend of Korra recently has me wondering, since I can't remember, does anyone besides Zuko know Katara can bloodbend decently?
WO blather- I am an idiot. Apparently weapon expertise stages- i.e. yes the big star weapons get a +54 attack bonus at max, but I didn't realize you get smaller bonuses whilst filling up the bar! I thought you were frickin stuck at +7 to +9 or whatever until you maxed it out. Well that's good, because I can start putting the guys who are stuck with their big star weapons back in rotation for story progression.
Its cool you can put wind/bolt/death element all on the same weapon now, and supposedly absorption is the other must. I can see that, because as I said, DW7:XL spoiled me because everyone gets some sort of title that allows them to regain health from attacking. Hmm, some of the other available things you can put on are things that increase the power of your normal/charge/special/musou attacks (4 separate things that is, not all together!) but those don't seem to be in anyone's ideal weapon build, as far as I've seen on the boards and faqs. I guess the benefit just isn't good as the elements/absorption/osmosis? Because I'm seeing the usefulness of osmosis since your musou doesn't seem to raise via attacking as it does in DW.
And I finally unlocked Mitsuhide, another of my favorites who also has trinity, so I don't have to have Keiji always. I'm amused the game has spread out the unlocking of everyone so its really hard to just do your favorites without having to play others. Like I just noticed I had to get a first level bond between Zhang He, Meng Huo and Zhu Rong to unlock the stage where you get Kojiro. But I guess the designers made the game that way so you experience playing more folks.
