TV commentary:
Community- Holy cow, tonight's L&O spoof was friggin' brilliant! Also, lawyer Annie and techie Britta were both pretty hot. Shocking end though. I had heard that someone was the show was dying. I actually had a feeling it might be Starburns, because obviously it wouldn't be any of the principals, and Leonard seemed a little too obvious. And someone like Magnitude or Neil or any of the other minor characters seemed a little too random.
Vampire Diaries- Speaking of hot chyx, Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie looked way hot as flapper girls. Elena, especially, I loved her hair in this! And that dress! The 1920s was a good choice for the decades dance! So the beginning of this ep doesn't do anything to dispel the idea of the Original siblings being a little too close, if you know what I mean. Although the fact Esther knows that's the way to play Klaus while pretending to be the Bekster makes it even creepier.
So Esther doesn't stay in Rebekah for long. She has evil Alaric dagger Bek's body so she can return to her own. Then, she reveals her plan, she uses Alaric's ring to make the last white oak stake indestructible so it can be used multiple times. Then after casting a spell over the school so all the vamps/hybrids are stuck in there (though wouldn't people wonder why there's a circle of salt around the school?!), she absconds with Elena so she can use her blood to turn Alaric into an Original to hunt down and kill the rest of her children and obliterate the vampire race. Though she's only imbuing him with enough power to finish off her children and once he's done he will expire.
So she does her spell, then kills him to start the transition. With the vampire stuck and Bonnie having no luck breaking the spell keeping them there, they send Jeremy and Matt. However, they're obviously out of their league, and Esther uses her magic to get them to shoot each other. BUT! Alaric kills her, and everything's fine.
Only its not, because Alaric isn't going to complete the transition. So, Bonnie ends up seeking solace with Jamie, Matt and the Germ get drunk, Elena breaks down, with Stefan being the one to comfort her. Because Damon's with Alaric as he dies, because they're best bros! Hilariously, Alaric is all, are you gonna make me dream of meadows? HA!
Twist ending of the ep? Esther comes to Bonnie in her dreams, telling her her sisters need Bonnie to finish Esther's work. So she sleepwalks, headaches Damon, and then feeds Alaric! So Alaric's a vampire now!
