Community- So the usual suspects were wondering the other day why I ship Annie with Jeff but not Abed, since she's my type (neurotic, highly driven brunette), and I'm very Abed. So wouldn't I want to see Annie get with someone like me? Well, sure, but there are limits to what I find believable on TV, and that falls into that category. So yeah, islands skipping through time/space, alternate universes, killer robots and vampires and werewolves and fae, people suddenly bursting into song in the middle of public? That's fine. But girls like Annie (or Blair Waldorf or Rachel Berry or Taylor Townsend for that matter) going for a guy as weird as me? It does not make cents! Plus, I'm an apathetic-lethargic schlub, they deserve better.
Justified- Heh, hilarious ep tonight with all the various people getting to other people to make them do this or that. Some of them were even gotten to multiple times, by different parties. And how many factions do we have now? The Marshalls, Boyd and crew, Limehouse and Crew, Quarles/Duffy, Detroit, Dickie/Errol. There's so many sides and I don't even think half the people know they're working towards the same goal (or are nemeses!)
I was amused that the one dealer had the katana, but after Quarles killed the one guy with the sleeve gun, he didn't actually take the other guy's sword to kill him, but just beat him to death with the scabbard.
But what the hell? I thought it was clear that Michael Ironsides and the other guy were there to kill Quarles? I guess they never outright said it, but at the bar in the beginning, it seemed fairly obvious they were looking for Quarles (and not in a good way) rather than planning to rough Raylan up on Quarles behalf. And then when Raylan and the chief caught Ironsides outside Quarles' house, wasn't he intimating he was trying to get rid of Quarles? But then when they do get Duffy and Ironsides' partner, they're quite shocked to learn the guys were sent there to take out Quarles.
And Errol's gutsy. I mean, it sounds like he is definitely taking precautions in his move against Limehouse, but still given what we saw in the beginning of the season, it sounds like if he's going to make his move, he better win, or it will be very, very bad for him. And maybe I missed something, but what exactly has Limehouse done that his second is complaining that he's not "changing with the times"?
