Fringe- Ha, this episode! Olivia's pining for Peter, Peter's trying to stay away from her, and Lincoln is pining after Liv. Hilariously, Lincoln is all, "You know I'm always here for you!" and she's all, "Of course I do!" and grasps his hands in a way that's all "You're such a great friend!" And then during the case of the week, the wife of the latest victim describes her husband as the sap who was always there for her, heartbreak after heartbreak, and finally, she just settled for him. All the while, they're focusing on Linc as she tells her story. HA!
Heh, and the story also motivates Olivia to let the new memories take over her, even though its erasing her old ones because she doesn't want to give up on the possibility of love.
Interesting, so before the Observer disappeared last ep, he implanted something in Peter's eye, unnoticed by the other Observers. It may have been partially responsible for Peter's need to leave as it was compelling Peter to go to a certain address. And what address? Perhaps the Observer's apartment, as Peter finds all sorts of Observer tech, which leads him to one of those weird egg-boring things.
The other Observers apparently locked main Observer away, and the pod Peter found a beacon that would allow the Observer to find his way back. Thankfully, he lets Peter know he is "home" and there is no other universe for him to return to. And the reason he wasn't erase was because of the love Peter and Olivia had for each other wouldn't allow him to fully disappear. (Well, not just her love, but the love of all his loved ones, like Walter)
Heh, I guess that would make Olivia his constant? So in the end they find each other and kiss, and I'm sure people who hate this kinda of corniness were pissed about the lurve-centric-ness of this ep?
And ha, if I were Peter, I'd be kinda pissed that the egg-borer made a hole in his house as it drilled back into the Earth. Like he'd be thinking, "Thanks, you bald a-hole for warning me about that, I coulda put it outside so it wouldn't create a hole in the middle of my living room!"
Nikita- Its another change up! Alex informs Nikki and Mike about Cassandra's true affiliation, and needless to say, Michael is pissed. He thinks he was being played all this time, and wants to grab Max from her. Nikita informs him she's not ready to be a mother, so bring him on the road with them is prolly not the best idea.
Ari decides to use Cassandra to take down Semak. At first, you think she was given the assignment to personally kill him. But nope, she was a patsy too. He gives her one last job and she's done- get her MI-6 team to follow some courier and steal a briefcase to lead them on a wild goose chase. But the intention was for them to kill one of her men, and then make it look like he killed Semak.
But Nikita and Michael foil that plan. Ari kills Semak anyways, still planning to blame MI-6. But this time, since he knows where Cassandra and her team are, he sends a Gogol hit squad to take them out, telling his men that the MI-6 guys killed Semak and wounded him. But Nikita and Michael foil that too. Plan C involves leaking Cassandra's secret Gogol status to her MI-6 bosses.
So, her boss tells one of her team members that she's a traitor. But unfortunately, the guy has no poker face, so Nikki easily figures out they're onto to Cass. Luckily, they have no idea Nikita and Michael are with Cassandra (just thinking they're CIA agents just caught up in this whole mess) and the gang subdues them and escapes. Nikita gets Max and then they fake Cassandra and Max's death via exploding plane. Lucky for them, Ari thinks MI-6 did it, and vice-versa.
Meanwhile, Alex is searching for her mom- it turns out Semak didn't have her. She feels a little bad once he's killed, since she susses out that he really did love her mom. Anyways, she figures out her mom is at some cabin retreat, so she and Sean go there. Apparently she's been there with Division agents the whole time. Amanda and Ari offer to let Alex and her mom run away forever if she signs over Zetrov to her. Sean tells her not to, because she can't let A&A have access to all those resources. Her mom tells her to do it, because she thinks Zetrov is cursed- it was built from evil, and it killed her husband, and then Semak. She thinks it will destroy Alex, so she should just give it to Ari and Amanda and let it destroy them. In the end, Alex chooses option C, and kicks the Division agents' asses and escape with her mom and Sean.
In the end, Alex sends her mom off with Sean to hide in the Greek isles while she goes back to Nikita to fight Division. Michael also sends Cassandra and Max away for their own good. So I guess since their pressure points are all safe, Nikita and friends can focus more on their various enemies (Amanda, Percy, Ari).
Degrassi- Boo, who wants Eli/Imogen? Let Fiona get the girl for once! I'm sure that's where they're headed, but still. So Summer and her husband are drug dealers? Well, that storyline was quickly resolved! And I guess Clare and Jake are fully resolved into just being brother and sister now?
