Ugh, I had to come in to work at 6am on a Saturday to babysit some electrical work.

TV commentary:

Nikita- Ah, so we get some explanations. So Carla got on Percy's radar because she was secretly helping prisoners get out for a second chance or at least transferred to better conditions. Only select ones though, those who deserve a second chance or ended up where they were through bad circumstance. Percy convinces her instead of getting these second chancers their second chance doing something menial, why not give them a chance to be heroes, and prove that they deserved the second chance.

And it was small scale at first, but then Percy expanded, and brought in Amanda. And Amanda and Carla hated each other. Indeed, for Carla, the onus of the corruption of Division lies not with Percy but Amanda. So why did Amanda put the hit out on Carla? Because, through dumb luck one day, Carla bumped into Amanda hanging out with Ari. Now, Ari was pretending to be an American, and until this last ep, Carla had no idea who he was. So even though Carla didn't know what Amanda was doing, Amanda needed her dead anyway, just in case.

So Alex is out to the world as Alexandra Udinov. She narrowly avoids being killed off by Semak, thanks to Nikita and the gang blackmailing Tasarov into helping Alex. And aw, since Carla had enough of Amanda (especially after hearing Amanda killed some guy whom Carla had recruited back in the day and was assigned to kill her by Amanda but let her go) she wanted to expose Tasarov because that would screw over Amanda, even though that would put Alex in incredible danger, and Birkhoff quickly drew on her to try and stop her. Looks like the nerd really cares for Alex. Nikita diffuses the sitch, but loses Carla's respect in the process, since Nikita is all, "we'll let this play out for a little longer" instead of immediately trying to take down Amanda. So, she contacts Percy and is going back to him (and informing him of the Tasarov-Amanda connection)

As for Alex, she was originally only going to ask for a trust fund and her mom, but after all this unseemly business of trying to kill her, she wants to step into the company reigns.

Fringe- Interesting developments, as usual. Liv remembers everything, so it seems like Peter is starting to realize there's not a universe out there for him to go back to, this is it, just changed.

And again, since I feel no one is safe on this show, I was totally worried something terrible was going to happen to Olivia now that she and Peter were back to being all lovey-dovey. Like she would get killed in a random shootout at the gas station or something. Nothing as extreme as that happens, but she is kidnapped. And apparently so was Nina at some point.

Though Lee and Bishop are with Nina right now at Massive Dynamics. So is that Nina working with Jones a shifter? Whatever she is, its good enough to fool MD's biometric locks where they're keeping the Cortexaphan. Heh, when Lee and Bishop were by themselves questioning Nina about it, I kept expecting one of those classic TV/movie convos where the villain is all, "did you tell anyone else about this?" and the poor sap is, "no, not yet", and the villain kills them. Though I guess Nina can't kill both Lee and Walter, that's too big of a risk.
