TV commentary:

Gossip Girl- Well, that was crap. At least for the first 55 minutes. Where to begin with the BS. It seemed like we crazy shit was going to go down with Father Cavalia teaming up with Chuck and the previews showing Georgina was gonna be in the mix. But nope, Chuck was just getting close to Cavalia and double crossed him to make sure he didn't mess up the wedding. So Georgina takes over. And her first plan is to... try and seduce Louis and tape it/have Blair catch them?!! Hey, Georgina is hot and all, but that's just ridiculous. Why would he just screw a virtual stranger just because she's in his room in her underwear? And even if she did somehow make it look like she was in a compromising position, Blair's not an idiot.

I guess she eventually ruined things between Blair and Louis, but not in the way she intended. Chuck and Blair's feelings are exposed (seriously tho, wtf, isn't this a Royal Wedding, people have their phones freaking on during the ceremony?!!! stv('How Rude!')), but Louis marries Blair anyways. Blair thinks it because she's sweet and forgiving, but the fact is the betrayal destroyed Louis- no longer does he believe in love, and they're going to keep up their sham of a marriage for appearances, but he feels nothing for her. This is when she finds out it was Dan and not Louis that wrote the vows.

So that's good- she ends up calling someone, saying she made a big mistake, and can they pick her up. You think its Chuck at first, but nope, its Dan. And they drive off. Alas, its not Daphne and Niles on Frasier. As usual, Dan seems totally there for her, but she doesn't seem into him the way he is into her. I keep wanting to see him pull a Pacey from Cinderella Story (one of the best DC eps, or at least the last 5 minutes were), pulling off to the side of the road, and ask Blair what it means that he's the one she relies on.

Other ridiculous stuff- Nate meets real Charlie, and okay, if she was a caterer at those other parties, she has to know her mom had hired Ivy to play her and is trying to stay away from the UES folks. Only, then why would she be making eyes at Nate? And if she didn't know, then who did she think this blond girl with the same name as her who was taking pictures with the Rhodes women (including her own mother!)

Also, Georgina had better just be taking over GG's name after GG took that hiatus. Because it would make no sense if Georgina was always GG. But weird, when Lily and Rufus are talking about weddings before they catch Georgina for the first time, they finally mention their secret son again. Its kinda funny, that they're all, "Remember how our wedding ended up being such a mess because our secret son showed up!" but its like they've never made any effort whatsoever to see him again since.

Hart of Dixie- And if GG wasn't frustrating enough. Then this happened! So, Zoe has been having a secret friendship with Annabeth. Wade, naturally, thinks she's seeing some other guy. So typical idiot he is, annoys her and flaunts other women in front of her, trying to make her jealous. Of course, Zoe is oblivious to this fact, and thinks he's just being a dick. Luckily, Levon gives him a talking to, spills the beans about Annabeth, and tells Wade to stop being an idiot and try to be more straightforward.

So, he cleans himself up, and acts super-nice to Zoe. But then, even though Annabeth betrayed her, Zoe ends up protecting her from Lemon by pretending to be a relationship with Veterinarian guy. So, of course Wade is crushed.

Pretty Little Liars- Wow, some actual new information from the past is brought up. For one thing, Spencer knows Kate! It took her a while to figure from where, but apparently she as one of Melissa's charges at riding camp. Which isn't as interesting as they had hinted, but it does end up playing into the end, but more on that later.

Caleb and the girls do a piss poor job of hiding things from Hanna (heh, its amusing when she tries to get a hold of them for plans, in order- Aria, Emily, Caleb, and then finally Spencer. Ouch. And I like how Spencer realizes the burn there, that she's "the lowest man on the totem pole"), so eventually they all come clean, and all is fixed. But not before Hanna confesses her mother's embezzlement to Caleb (bringing them closer) and Caleb gets threatened by Garrett when he tries to confront Jenna. And just when Hanna thinks everything is okay, A hacks her phone and sends the photo of Kate from camp that Spencer showed Hannah, as well as a nudie pic of Kate from the locker room, from Hanna. So Hanna could be facing some serious trouble for supposedly sending a nekkid pic of her step sister to the entire school.

Anyways, Caleb finally clears the video up enough for the girls to see a fake ID of Ali's with the name Vivian Darkbloom, which is an anagram of Vladmir Nabokov, who wrote Lolita. Hanna remembers bumping into Ali once in her Vivian persona, as well as remembering she stole Ali's copy of Lolita, wherein she and Spencer find a claim ticket which is apparently still valid.

In the non A-plots, Aria's dad has apparently nefariously recommended Ezra for a prestigious new position... in NOLA. (heh, Byron even gives Ezra a sinister tip of the glass when he finds out he's getting shipped off to Louisiana) Since Ezra is at a fancy college party, Aria and Holden end up on a fake-real date- Aria kept the fact that Ezra bailed on her and was going to just hang out reading to herself while Holden went on his date since her plans fell through, but Holden's date also fell through, so he was just going to hang out and wait for Aria. So, they end up deciding to hang out and play table hockey. Heh, last week, it seemed like Holden's secret was that he was down with the swirl, but maybe he has no one he's seeing at all, and this is an elaborate plan to get with Aria. Actually, he has another secret- bruises, so maybe his parents are beating him, and he just wants to get out.

Oh, and Emily's mom is back, right when Maya and Em have just gotten back together. Their dinner together is as awkward and uncomfortable as you expect (Em is jealous of that guy Maya saw at camp, and Maya was indeed trying to get a rise out of Pam for getting her busted by her parents) But, Emily and Maya make up, say the L word, and I guess do it for the first time?

House- Its funny that [livejournal.com profile] clevemire mentioned the CotW (Bridgit Mendler) kinda looks like Alona Tal, because I was thinking just that a few weeks ago. Speaking of the former, I was shocked to learn they actually revived Juliet on WoWP before the finale. But I guess if they brought Mason back, its only fair they do her. Also, Odette Annable is still friggin hott.
