Sons of Anarchy- Heh, did they really just bring Kozik back just to blow him up? And interesting, it looks like Clay's number is up with so many people separately out to get him. I'd be worried about Opie though, because man, is he pissed. Unser outright tells Opie that Clay killed his dad. And Unser further pushes Opies buttons- Clay killed Piney, he killed Donna, and points out Gemma's roughed up face as evidence that he needs to put Clay down before he kills anyone else he loves.
Dynasty Warriors blather: Progressed far enough in Legend mode that I can start acquiring titles. So between that and maxing stats, there's plenty to do. I don't think I'll be able to do everyone though, that's a friggin lot. Getting everyone at max title is a trophy though, so I may have to do at least that, but I may just max out the Wei and select characters (Zhou Tai, Ma Chao, Lu Bu. Zhong Hui) Of course, I think the highest trophies need to be acquired on the chaos difficulty, 10 star stage. Which would require getting stats pretty high.
I mean on chaos, its not just officers ganging up on you and juggling you to death- its archers. I mean, they're like cockroaches, progress far enough in a level, and next thing you know there's literally a hundred of them there. And on the higher levels, arrows actually do friggin damage. Like I actually got one of the secret weapons- Hu Lao gate in legend mode, chaos level, you had to defeat Lu Bu. And he and the other officers weren't really a problem, but if you don't pay attention those arrows will whittle you down. Like you're not even getting hurt by the officers, but then you notice your health is unexpectedly in the yellow, and its because of those damn archers. (I did get the weapon, and I was annoyed to find it was a fire-element sword. I mean, I like that it had 5 slots, and the element was at lvl 8, but fire element sucks, so I would never use it!)
Oh, I haven't progressed enough in legend mode for the strategist to start selling manuals. Those will help in maxing characters, because you can buy stat ups. Even better, you can also increase the speed and power stats (which despite their name, actually gauge your ability to use speed and power weapons). So, if I max those out, I can actually get three star proficiency in the scythe for Yue Ying.
Still haven't played Pang De yet, but since he just uses the twin axes, not much new to see there. I have gotten Wang Yi and Guo Jia's entire moveset though. As I said, Wang Yi's is pretty good against officers (particularly her EX attack) and crowds. I don't like her air musou though. She basically flies down and stabs someone, pinning them to the ground, and then cutting their throat (she's a pretty vicious bitch). Which is fine, if you target an officer. But when he's in a crowd of peons, good luck getting him! At least the other focused musous like that, one of the blows manages to do splash damage on everyone around. I don't think Wang Yi's does that though.
But holy cow, Guo Jia is friggin monstrous! I love his moveset, even if his weapon is a little silly. Its basically a giant pool stick, and he can generate magical energy balls. But what's fun about his moveset is that his c1-c3 will generate balls that float around him (I think you can get up to 5). And its quick and easy to generate balls. Now his c4-c6 will use those balls. Obviously the damage increases with the number of balls he had at the time of the attack. And you can easily get 25+ hit combos without even trying! I haven't gotten his second musou, but his first is just ridiculous. Basically, he generates a giant energy ball, that kinds sucks enemies in and juggles them for several seconds. So basically, you have enemies just stuck and just bouncing off the ball over and over getting hurt, but also, unlike other musous, you're free to attack with any attacks you want. So you can just go all out with your best combos while they're stuck there for several seconds. It has to be the best musou in the game!
