Misfits- Hilarious and disturbing episode, but what would you expect from an ep that involves Curtis' power this season? Well, the attempted rapes were not hilarious, but the Three's Company-ish comedy of errors were. So Curtis decides to start running again as Mel, since Mel doesn't have Curtis' criminal record. He meets a totally hot brunette runner chick named Emma. She was a big fan of him back in the day, and they end up hanging out, but he's all sad about not being able to run, so she gave him a sympathy bone to shut him up, and what's worse, he was awful in bed with her. Which she proceeds to tell all the tawdry details to to Mel, so of course Curtis is crushed. Simon is the first of the gang to see Curtis as Mel, and Simon ends up being the one Curtis' lays all this on. And of course, he still doesn't want the gang to know his female self. So when Kelly notices them talking, she starts getting all suspicious and thinks Mel is this slut trying to steal Simon from Alisha.
In any case, Curtis starts going out with Emma as Mel. They go out for a night, wherein Emma has to lend Mel a dress since Curtis doesn't really have a wardrobe for Mel. There's some lezzing out (Curtis later tells Simon that girls are way lucky since they get to have the multiple orgasms). Another night though, scumbag coach tries to roofie Mel. So she's out of it, and Rudy comes upon her. And since Mel isn't in her right mind, she thinks Rudy is Emma and has him go down on her (wait, they play it off as an amusing little accident, but isn't that still kinda rape?). And of course, Emma comes upon the scene and thinks Mel is a cheating bitch.
Thinks get serious for a moment when the coach comes upon Mel and tries to rape her in his car, but Mel reverts to Curtis right before anything happens. So Coach is momentarily shocked, which gives Curtis time to punch him out and get out of there. But, we're back to Three's Company when he goes home and Emma knocks on the door, looking for a revenge frak. But Curtis tells her he doesn't want her like that, and he talks to her all sweetly, and things are going well. Until she finds the dress she lent Mel there, so now she thinks Curtis is effin' Mel and is pissed at the both of them.
Heh, then later, Kelly confronts Mel and starts telling her she's a attempted boyfriend stealing skank and to lay off Simon because Alisha's her friend. Of course, everyone happens upon this, including their probation officer, so she and Simon can't really explain that she's really Curtis, and the whole argument is ended by something even more incredibly awkward, Mel getting her period. It does at least get the probation officer to take off, so Simon can explain that Mel is Curtis. Rudy is of course totally grossed out, especially since he has a pube stuck in his throat from going down on Mel.
Eventually, Curtis resolves to tell Mel the truth, and learns Emma went out drinking with coach. Knowing what that means, he manages to save her in the nick of time from getting raped. Once she's cognizant again, he finally does reveal that he's Mel, and since this is the world of Misfits, she takes it in stride. They get revenge on the coach by tying him up naked by the running track with "I'm a rapist" written all over him. And apparently that's that? No investigation or anything? We don't actually find out what happens to him after that, like if he loses his job, or if Emma or Mel have to testify against him or what.
But hey, finally an ep with a totally hot chick who doesn't end up getting killed! Given what usually happens to hot chick guest stars on this show, I suppose that's as good an ending as Emma could hope for. Also, just because Rudy is Nathan's replacement, doesn't mean he has to also be a dumb gross idiot, they could've added a different personality in Nate's place!
