Sons of Anarchy- Wow, I did not see any of that coming. Particularly the stuff with Jax and Tara. I mean, it seemed like there were only two ways that story would play out in the long run. They eventually get out of the Sons, or she dies and Jax eventually figures out it was Clay's doing and avenges her (and his dad). I did not foresee option three (well, it doesn't actually stop the first two from happening, but its till an unforeseen complication): So, since Jax was with Tara on her trip, Clay tries to call the whole thing off, but the Cartels lie and are all, "Sorry, outside contractors, its too late!" Lucky for Tara, Jax is there, and he manages to rescue her, but not without her hand getting accidentally mashed up in the ensuing chaos.
Which is bad, because she's a freakin' surgeon. So all those hopes of getting a job at a nice hospital somewhere far away from the Sons have gone up in smoke. Which leads to a heart wrenching scene in the Hospital where she's all, now that her dreams are gone, now she can just be an old lady full time, stay in Charming with Jax, raise their boys (well, I guess only one is actually "theirs", but you know what I mean) there, where they'll be around family. And I think she was only being semi-sarcastic about it- a mix of anger and resignation that she's stuck now.
Of course, given this mess, Clay changes his mind about all this and tries to get the hit called off, but the Cartels feel she is just too much trouble, so now they want her dead too. So Clay's stuck, and is in deep shit since Gemma figured out he had a hand in this. Which leads to a huge blow up between the two of them, wherein Clay beats the crap out of her and musses up her face.
So now she wants him dead, and has Unser helping her with that. And wait, the club still doesn't know Piney's dead? Between the attempted kidnapping of Tara and now this, the fallout from all that is gonna be pretty bad I think. I mean, if Unser doesn't manage to prove it was Clay and not Sonora, wow, the Sons will be out for those guys' blood!
Glee- Interesting, so apparently Glee is sticking with the tradition of having the 6th episode of the season having mashup songs? Although this time, instead of Boys vs Girls, it will be the Troubletones vs New Directions? In any case, the Troubletones number has been leaked (and is freakin' amazing!), and here it is:
As I said, wow, this song is just amazing! And Mercedes and Santana really do Adele justice, which is good. Because I've watched enough folks on youtube to know, while a lot of people try to do Adele, only a handful actually manage to do it well. No offense to ND, but there's no way they can beat this! If this is a contest between the two groups, and the Troubletones don't win, I'll have to call shenanigans. "I Feel Pretty/Unpretty" is still may favorite mashup on Glee, but this is a very close second.
