Community- Well, that was unexpected. But I'm cool with it. So Britta and Troy kissed!? Granted, it was because Troy was telling lies because he's had a pretty good life and had no pain to draw on for their acting class together. But after they worked it out, I think there's something there. What with Britta all sad that she'll never find the right guy and Troy being all supportive. Its the kinda slow build they did with Jeff and Annie last year. And hey I think it works. Plus, with them together, then that's good for Jeff and Annie together!
Parks and Rec- Not too surprising, as NBC accidentally spoiled this months ago so i knew it was coming. So, Andy and April get married.
clevemire expressed surprise, since he figured the show would draw things out to keep suckers like me engaged. But Andy and April ship drama was so last year. Now they've moved on to Leslie and Party Down guy.
DW7 stuff:
One thing I didn't realize about the two weapons until recently was that all the seals you have equipped are in effect, even if you're not using that weapon at the time. I mean, you still have to be using that weapon to unlock seals, but stuff stacks! So if you're not doing too much weapon switching, for your secondary weapon you'll prolly just want to pick something with a lot of slots so you have more seals to play with.
One of the really powerful seals is Elemental Attack Up. It seems elements were nerfed in the more recent DW5 and SW2, particularly vorpal element. But now, they're all back! I mean, I seem to be freezing and shocking people way more this time around (I'm still unsure of the diff between ice and lightning, they both seem to "stun" the enemy for a short bit) and vorpal is once again the best element, its deadly!
How do I know? So, I've gotten to the point where the merchant and weapons dealer have been selling lvl 6 and up weapons (which requires Smithing, so you need someone with that skill like Zhuge Liang to talk to the guy in order to be able to buy it). The Lvl 6 sword, "The Sword of Heaven" has an atk power of 31. But the lvl 6 Heaven and Hell twin swords was only 19. And I kept wondering, why the hell is the twin swords so much weaker than the normal sword? I've heard this on the board, and while attack power is nice, its not nearly as good as the number of "elemental hits" the weapon gives you.
And the twin swords has a good number off elemental hits in its move set, particularly its c6, which covers such a wide arc around you. And, the Heaven and Hell swords happen to have vorpal element. Now, I've been using the handsome/pretty battles to help level up characters. And my Xiahou Dun is pretty powerful since I had been re-playing Fan Castle a lot before I had delved into conquest mode because there were a lot of good weapons for sale before the battle. So him and the Sword of Heaven did pretty well in the arena battles.
Then I played Cao Pi with the Heaven and Hell swords. Holy crap, he just ran over the opposition! With the vorpal element, his c6 (well, not his, anyone using the two sword style who has their 6th charge attack unlocked can do it) would take out a quarter of their life bar if it hit, and as I said, its a pretty wide arc around you, so you'll hit with it! I hope his later weapons keep that element. Because I like the fact that he and his wifey have ice-based musous, so not only would he have the vorpal element in his attack, he could still freeze peeps with his musou (and his EX-attack too, I believe), so its the best of both worlds.
