Mar. 25th, 2011 10:56 pmSince its meatless Fridays, hit Sushinobo again for dinner. This time had the Absolute Rolls and the Samurai Rolls. The Samurai Rolls were particularly interesting, because its like smoked salmon roll, but topped with yellow tail- its like a combo of roll-type sushi with the other type of sushi.
TV commentary:
Fringe- Ah, we're back in the alt-verse for this one. As usual, some pretty interesting developments. Fauxlivia is kidnapped, and in the course of tracking her down, Alt-Linc and Alt-Charlie run into taxi guy. Eventually, he tells them enough that Lincoln gets suspicious and confronts Walternate, who reveals that Fauxlivia was under cover in the other world, and they had been working with Olivia for a while. Heh, also, alt-Lincoln had always been flirty with Faux-liv, and it was obvious he liked her, but this ep highlights how much of a chump he is for her.
Alas, too bad he's still not getting any from her.
In any case, all the stuff revealed to him and alt-Charlie, and being kept in the dark about all the Olivia/Fauxlivia stuff at the time, and the fact that Broyles disappeared at the same time has them suspicious of Walternate. It looks like they might start questioning things.
Speaking of, turns out Walternate is behind the kidnapping, by way of Alt-Brandon. But it turned out to be good for Fauxliiva, as she had some disease that would've killed her and the baby (which in fact had killed alt-Rachel and baby alt-Ella in that world), but since they accelerated the pregnancy, the virus wasn't able to replicate properly and she safely delivered her son. Weird though, I had a feeling alt-Brandon was involved, but its odd that Walternate is as well.
I mean, he's not playing to any crowds when he continues to insist to Brandon that he's not experimenting on kids. So he doesn't want to experiment on children, but he's perfectly fine with kidnapping and performing crazy medical experiments on Fauxlivia and his unborn grandchild?
Degrassi- Weird, so Holly J's thing was strep throat, which she let run rampant long enough that it damaged her kidneys?
Alli gets robbed, so she tries to go back to Johnny, but he's called Sav. She's pissed at first, but Sav convinces her he's on her side, and talks to their parents and things seem to work out for the Bandarhis.
Wesley doesn't come close to beating that world record, but he does come out of the whole thing with a new red-headed girlfriend.
Owel, gonna see Sucker Punch tomorrow morning with the usual suspects (and listening to the soundtrack as I type this up). The reviews seem to be awful, but reading those reviews, it sounds like its just my kind of movie.
