At her feet was a footloose man

TV commentary:

24- Wow, pretty clever. So, NYPD jumps the gun, so Tarrin figures out they're on to him and he escapes with Kayla. So CTU meets up with Hassan, as they figure that bad guys will contact him about the daughter. They do and the ultimatum is this, give them "File 33" (an intel file the IRK made before they got all friendly with the US detailing the holes in our nuclear security), or they kill his daughter. For a moment, we think Tarrin has a change of heart, and he breaks Kayla out, dying in the process. Or so we think! It was a trick to have her escape to CTU and unwittingly drive in an EMP that takes CTU down. But, its obvious it wasn't all a ruse for Tarrin and he did have feelings for Kayla, since he felt pretty bad about the whole thing. And heh, with their comm down, how will Hassan know his daughter is safe and sound?

But anyways, the EMP works out for Starbuck, as Jimmy James figures out her number and suspects her of helping Kevin and Nick with that theft, even though she manages to provide a quite convincing story that Kevin called her because he was a one night stand she had after getting blitzed and stressing over her upcoming nuptials. But, she's already to turn over the footage and admit her complicity when the EMP goes off. How convenient! Something is up with Jimmy James though? Isn't he just a parole officer? How's he getting quick inter-agency warrants this late at night for something that only happened a couple of hours before?

House- What the?! So, this current season, they've been acting like Taub's wife is suspicious but wrong that Taub is cheating on her. And it seems like Taub is innocent. And in the end, he finally convinces his wife to renew their vows. But then House sees an arm squeeze a nurse gives Taub. So wait, was Taub actually having an affair? Or is House noticing something odd, and is suspicious, but he might not actually be having an affair and House is reading too much into it? But he's House, he's quite astute, so wouldn't he most likely be right?

Gossip Girl- at least it wasn't as boring as last weeks. So Dan and V hem and haw about becoming a couple, bringing fake dates to parties and wot-not. But wait, that dude that Vanessa is seeing, isn't he totally gay? I mean, he has a hankie or ascot or whatever tied around his neck! But, after fooling around, they decide to see where this leads and take it slow. Snooze.

So Rufus and Lily think Jenny and Damien are screwing around, mostly because they were hiding the fact that they're actually drug dealers. Anyhoo, little J is interested in Damien, but he's all "you're in high school!" So, Jenny gets him to like her by showing the drugs to Rufus and Lily and tell them they're hers and causing drama, which somehow works, because then Damien spins a yarn (or does he?) about his father being a huge druggie and he stole the drugs and was crying to J about it. But Rufus still wants to move back to Brooklyn with his daughter, so she runs away to Damien. Oh, and Vanya shows up saying that one chick had Rufus' scarf, so now Lily's possibly glad because she now has something to throw back in his face after he's being such a whiny little bitch about Lily going to see S's dad.

Speaking of, the non-judgmental breakfast club is back, and they learn that one chick really is Chuck's mom. Chuck wants to just be done with her, but since S has her daddy issues, she tries to reunite them, and it blows up in her face when Chuck assumes the chick is a gold digger and pays her off and sends her away. After talking with Chuck's mom, she finally tells her dad she's gonna stop looking for him, which of course means once Lily and Rufus patch things up, that's when he'll show up. Anyways, apparently the truth about his mom is such- Bart knocked her up and they were just gonna give it up for adoption, but once Bart saw he had a son, he couldn't give him up. He wanted to marry her, but she didn't love him, so she told Bart to say she was dead so he wouldn't look for her. In the end, Chuck's mom decides to stay and try to get to know her son.

Life Unexpected- So Jones asks Lux to the Winter Formal, so of course Bug shows back in town. Anyways, Baze is all excited that his daughter is dating the cool guy quarterback (which is kinda creepy, since Jones is like a young him), until he realizes how eerily the sitch parallels how he knocked Cate up. After recruiting Cate's sister to help him give Lux a sex talk (which unbeknown to them is too late, as Lux has been sexual active for a while, and in fact she and Bug were snuggling post coitus when they came up to her room to give her the talk), Bug finds out about Jones and is pissed. Lux rightly says Bug left, and she's been trying to move on and make friends and calls him on his claim that he's trying to change and stop hurting her, since he's hurting her right now by making her feel shitty for doing nothing wrong.

Cate tries to mend fences with Lux, unsuccessfully, and Math tries to capitalize on her problem by asking her to be a chaperon to the Winter Formal, kinda a do-over from HS when he wanted to ask her, but was too late. Anyways, while they're at the dance, Baze finds one of Bug's condoms, thinks its Jones' and then goes to the dance half-cocked, creating a scene with Cate. So, Lux and Jones duck out since once again her parents are embarrassing her and have a nice friendly talk in his car. Which of course, was Baze's fear, so they create another scene in the parking lot, wherein Lux finds out she and Bug are frakking, and right before he picked her up to the dance too!

Lux does tell Jones she thought they were going as friends, since he did ask to go as friends, and begs Jones that they still are friends. But he has to think about it. After he goes though, Bug shows up all clean, and tells her he's finally willing to try and fit into her new life instead of making her feel bad for wanting that kinda life, so he's slowly redeeming himself in my book.

Meanwhile, Cate reveals what a dick Baze was in the past- after they did it, but before she found out she was preggers, she was all excited. I mean, she's the nerdy girl and she slept with the big man on campus, she thought they were an item. But then that next Monday, he heard him telling his friends he woulda only have slept with her if she was gagged and had a bag over her head and basically she blames him for all her insecurities. Well, that, and for once she wants to be the one who's loved and pined after (which Math always did, but I guess she's too wrapped up in her self to notice), and Baze thinks she wants him, so she blasts him once again for being so presumptuous and tells him she's talking about Lux now since they're currently strained.

Anyways, Cate at least gives Math a dance, and manages to somewhat fix things with her daughter a little. Meanwhile Baze goes back to the bar to mope and Cate's sister tells him her issues go beyond him since their mom is an alky (actually, sis seems like she's kinda an alky too. Well, Cate does also) and their dad abandoned them. So they do it, and Lux catches them when she goes to tell Baze Cate's there to see him. Anyways, he keeps mum on the sister frakking since she's there to try and mend fences and let go of all the drama. Heh, wonder how pissed she'll be when she finds out he screwed her sister?

Chuck- Wow, a lot of Casey back story here. Apparently that guy Paulie Walnuts thought he was was his real identity, Alex Coburn. He was a bad-ass sniper in Honduras who didn't make it into Spec Ops (or was he purposely dropped so the T-1000 could recruit him?) who offered him a chance to be in a top secret black ops group. But, he'd have to fake his death, and thus John Casey was born.

But the big surprise is he left behind a fiancee, and unbeknown to him, a daughter! Anyways, the T-1000 gets Casey to steal something for him during a mission, and Chuck catches him, and he ends up telling the General because he thought it was some weird test. So Casey's arrested, and Chuck and Sarah, upon finding out the T-1000 is a Ring guy and prolly tricked Casey, try to break him out, but not in time, as the T-1000 gets there first.

Apparently, the T-1000 is leveraging his ex-fiance against him by threatening to kill her, but while Sarah goes to back up Casey, Chuck goes to save the fiancee. In the end, Chuck flashes, totally kicks their asses and saves her life, but the fiancee does not recognize John, so he keeps mum. Even after learning about the daughter.

Casey gets canned, but it could've been worse. Still, even that he's now a civilian, he thinks its too late to try and know his family, but he tells Chuck its not too late for him and Walker. Though it might be soon, because the General says she remembers Sarah's transfer request and will give it to her after Chuck's at 100%.

In non-spy stuff, Ellie gets some neurology fellowship she's wanted since she was a kid, but from last week, we know Awesome wants to join Doctors without Borders to keep her safe. Morgan and Awesome find out each other knows, and Morgan backs Awesome up on the whole DWB thing. But in the end, though Ellie is willing to do DWB, Awesome changes his mind about the whole running and hiding thing and lets her take the fellowship.
