Its a sleeping cravat!

Tried out the Wanted Demo for the PS3. The control scheme is simple enough (the bullet curving thing is actually pretty easy to do) and the cover system is pretty easy to use. For the most part. You actually have to be facing the cover to stick to it, so its possible to get into a position where you break cover, and the camera switches to an angle where you can no longer stick to it. Which can cause a bit of trouble in the middle of a firefight.

TV commentary:

Gossip Girl- Hmm, that Carter dude returned sooner than I expected. Is it me, or is Carter a lot like his character on Kings, decadent little rich boy. Seriously, he looked like he was even wearing the same suit! Given they're both filmed in NYC, I wouldn't be surprised if he did a scene on GG, then ran down the street to do a scene for Kings! But how could Chuck not know that Carter was part of the EWS society? I mean, its this secret society for the filthy rich that's all about decadence! How is that totally not something Carter would be in? Unlike Chuck, he is old enough to be in it. But anyways, glad that storyline was done with. Him having this connection with a hooker with a heart of gold after one night he hardly remembered was totally ridiculous, and just like not figuring out Carter was in the club, its silly that he didn't realize the chick was totally using him. It is funny that this whole time they thought the club was trying to take her out, but they just wanted her to sign a non disclosure agreement. HA!!!

Oh, how could Serena not know the director guy was friggin' gay? I mean, there was prolly a good chance already, given he was a broadway musical director, but it was totally obvious! Not that he was a full on Queen, but who wears a scarf and not because its cold?!

Hearing about Dan and Blair playing love interests in the play a few months ago, I was a little eggcited about this ep, but it was totally disappointing. They didn't even kiss! But they did do each other a solid, and even in their little interactions as frenemies they have more chemistry together than some of the other pairings on this show. But with Ms. Carr totally frakkin over Blair, Blair's out of Yale, but she's less devastated about that than the realization that she is kinda a monster. So although Chuck is finally ready for her, she's easy pickings for real life beau Carter.

HIMYM- Okay, this whole thing where Robin is on the opposite schedule thing, but they still meet for drinks is a little nonsensical. Well, meeting for drinks like an hour before she has to go to work doesn't make sense. I mean, 10 or 11, I could understand. But what the hell are the rest of them doing drinking at 2 in the morning?! I could give that Ted, Marshall, and Barney might not have to come in until late in the morning, but Lily's a friggin' kindergarten teacher! What kinda kindergarten teacher is out until two drinking?! You know, I don't think Lily tanking some of Ted's relationships is as bad as them missing Robin's show. I mean, what a bunch of a-holes. I mean, they couldn't even TiVo it?! And how exactly does one win a "who's hornier contest"? Is it me, or did the blond in that Barney fantasy have a ridiculously tight and petite body? spcv('Nice!')

Kyle XY- ARGH!! I was worried that since this show was canceled that we wouldn't get a proper resolution. But the description for the ep, I was thinking mebbe they had a chance to write a proper ending. Apparently not! I mean, he stops them from recreating the experiment (for now!) but there's still a lot left unresolved. Like Amanda and Jessi kinda bond. Well, at the very least, Amanda lets her intentions that she was going after Kyle again known to Jessi, and Jessi doesn't break her neck on the spot. I do find it interesting though, so Kyle feels butterflies with Amanda but electricity with Jessi? All I know is Jessi does look pretty happy with Kyle. But I tend towards the messed up girls as opposed to the goody-goody ms. perfects that everyone loves.

Oh, and apparently Cassidy and him are brothers?! And that revelation is where we end?! AGH!

House- Hey, Judy Greer is the PotW. I've always found her strangely attractive. That whole faking the seizure was one thing, but peeing herself? That's hardcore! I mean, I guess she was really worried about the cat thing, so she was pulling out all the stops. But even with that caveat, I'm not sure that was the wisest course of action. Because if they did take the case, wouldn't the whole seizure and green pee thing totally throw them off?!

Owel, it does suck for Taub that he's been having trouble because of the economy, but boy was he a little bitch. At least he didn't get scammed. Though he did have to swallow his pride in the end, I guess.

24- Ha, so this whole time, was Tony just having coffee at a local cafe? I mean, he's "outside the White House" before the whole Juma attack, and then we don't hear from him the next couple of hours, and when Jack calls him at the end of this hour, he's just sitting having a drink? That's hilarious! I mean, they couldn't have had him doing something in the background other than sitting on his ass? Does he even know Buchanan's dead? Owel, not only is he framed for Burnett's murder, they think he killed Red also. But it was pretty obvious that he was toast when he and Jack started getting along.

Secret Life- So this ep, we see a flashback to the summer Amy got knocked up. As expected, innocent little Amy was easy pickings for Ricky's playa moves. But what's up with Adrian's mom letting her dress all sluttily? Though I guess it is the summer, so the whole walking around in a bikini is somewhat excusable. And apparent Ashley is a dancer? Were they implying the dad was putting the moves on her dance teacher also? They also callback to Jack only asking Grace out because his father asked him too, but after they showed the dad (Or I guess, step-dad) it doesn't really make sense. For one thing, when they initially mentioned it, it sounded like it was done as some weird political move amongst their church (though why the reverend wanted in good with Bo Duke, I don't know), but Jack's preacher dad doesn't seem like a schemer at all. And why wouldn't Jack ask her out anyways? He's a football player, she's a cheerleader. And its not like she's an uggo!

One Tree Hill- So on OTH, we get 5 little stories taking place the same night concerning different pairings- Peyton and Lucas, Brooke and Julian, Mouth and Millie, Naley, and surprisingly a scene with Deb and Dan. I'm not normally a gambling man, but Peyton having the baby despite the danger, that's the kinda gamble I would make. I mean, my views on abortion are fairly obvious. I can understand Lucas being upset, because he doesn't want to lose her. But if she wants to go for it, that's her choice. And they don't know if something bad will happen. But killing the child, someone definitely dies in that situation. They can hope things work out for the best, tho it was a little sad seeing them trying to convince themselves of that, talking about how they'll grow old together, dancing at their grandchildrens' wedding. But heh, Peyton was talking about if she did die, he'd have so many people to help himl. Heh, not if Naley leaves like they were thinking!

Not sure why Mouth and Millie are still breaking up. She needs to forgive herself? I mean, he's forgiven her, what's her problem? So Julian tells Brooke he loves her, but she freaks out, and learns the last time she was in love was with Lucas. Heh, I was amused by the whole, "If I find more than one copy of his book in here, I'm leaving!" I guess he did already lose one girl to him. But apparently he's not the one to break through that wall of hers just yet. I guess they both have reasons to be insecure.

The Dan/Deb confrontation was interesting. I totally forgot he killed Keith because he thought it was Keith who tried to kill him. That doesn't excuse it in the slightest. But I forgot how much their volatile relationship played into the whole thing, her sleeping with Keith, hurting each other back and forth. I wouldn't say it was her fault though. She played a part in it, but I don't believe that whole "she loaded the gun" thing. But heh, how ironic that she tells him she wishes he would die, and then the heart beeper goes off.
