When did I start watching so many shows on Tuesday? What is this, Monday?! I mean, House, Fringe, 90210, and Privileged, and then NCIS and SVU start up next week.
TV Commentary:
So on House, Wilson decides to leave after Amber's death. (Well, its been a couple months on the show) Of course, House and Wilson have a little tiff, with Cuddy trying to sit them in a room together as if they were in couples counseling, and House trying to blackmail him into staying by refusing to work and therefore letting someone possibly die. Cuddy thinks the reason House doesn't want to truly talk about it is because he's scared to get the truth from Wilson, that Wilson blames him for Amber's death. He doesn't, as much as he tried to, but House is still crushed, because Wilson is all, he has to stop enabling House, and that they were never friends. Drama queen! Now, I've prolly seen half the House eps, but they were definitely friends!
And I'm still confused how Cameron and Chase are in the credits, and the new team are only guest stars, when Taub, Kumar, and 13 (I forget, do they still call her 13, or do they actually refer to her as Hadley now?) get more focus and screen time. That was kinda rude of House to out her Huntington's, then again, House is kinda an ass.
Lucy Hale (Or rather "Lucy Kate Hale" now) is still mad cute, but she's not my only reason for watching Privileged. Its an amusing enough show, but again, I wouldn't go as far as to say Megan is the "new Rory Gilmore". I guess they just said that because she's closer to Rory's age than Lorelai's, but she talks more like Lorelai than Rory.
Anyhoo, yeah, Megan's sister is kinda crass, and she did steal her boyfriend. But Megan was being pretty rude to her, assuming she'd do something to embarrass her at the party, but the only time people seemed to notice was when she was lambasting her sister that she was going to end up embarrassing her. It seems to me one of them is going to have to take the first step in mending their relationship, and Lily is too much of a mess to be that person, I think. It seems like Megan was heading that direction, unfortunately she ends up seeing her sister making out with neighbor boy right after trying to take the first step towards reconciliation. Whoops!
Its an interesting contrast to the Baker sisters, who seem to be all about doing whatever to make their sister happy, even if its not actually the best thing for them. Last ep, Rose was saying how she tends to go along with Sage because she doesn't want to see her sad. And now this ep Sage helps Rose get back together with this Max guy even though she thinks he might not actually be the best guy for her. So while the two are definitely closer than Megan and Lily, trying to be the best sister to their sister might not be in their best interests.
So on Fringe, Broyles has a meeting with some mysterious committee monitoring the pattern. We apparently learn there was an old team, I wonder what happened to them? And Nina's involvement continues to confuse me. When I first watched the pilot, I thought the Massive Dynamic chick was gonna be antagonistic to such a group, like the whole "Is this about the pattern" conversation was her trying to discount Olivia, thinking she was investigating the pattern. But with her actually on the committee, I'm intrigued on how all the players fit together. Is he like a bad guy, and the rest of the committee doesn't know it? Or is she separate from the people causing the Pattern, but she and Massive Dynamics have their own agenda in trying to figuring out the pattern, one that's different from the agenda of Broyles and the rest of the group.
Walter is an intriguing character. I'm not sure if the guy they were interviewing was being truthful, or if he was trying to vilify Bishop to throw them off track. But there are times when he's experimenting when he does seem like the classic evil genius, not caring about the consequences of his mad science. But its like he's gone senile, and has forgotten he's really a villain.
And apparently Pacey has mysterious health issues? Did Walter experiment on his own son? And the weird questioning about Pacey's physical health makes more sense in light of this development.
So on 90210, we finally find out Kelly's baby's daddy is Dylan. I guess the whole phone call thing with Brandon was a red herring. I wonder if its like people guessed, that they kept it purposely vague until they could get Jason Priestly or Luke Perry to commit to some eps.
Ha, Gangy doing Mama Who Bore Me was hilarious. She did a perfect job of doing a corny old peoples version of the song. Again, she definitely Lucille Bluth like, only she's more self aware and not as much of a bitch, as evidenced by her quitting the play to spare Annie since she was turning into one of the crazy stage mother type people.
We also find out Ethan has a crazy brother (autistic perhaps?) and that Annie's going to have a hard time getting him, since he seems to share a rapport with Naomi that transcends the problems they've had the first few eps. And after seeing Dixon totally cool with the guy who's side mirror he accidentally knocked off with the mini-van, Silver decides not to air Naomi's parental troubles. Though it seems like she wouldn't have to, like enough people know to spread it around. She's supposed to be one of the good girls, so of course she wouldn't out Naomi like that, but Naomi hasn't begun to know what it feels like to be in Silver's sitch as she claims! What she did turned Silver's mom back into such an evil crazy alkie-druggie that Silver was considering homelessness over staying in the same house as her!
Speaking of Silver and Dixon though, what's up with the terrible green screen when she was driving them to school?! Could that drive look any more fake? It was almost a parody of such scenes! Heh, and Annie baking Ty snickerdoodles to get back in his good graces, is that a Rob Thomasism? She trying to be Ronnie Mars or something?

You have a TV addiction. :P
(otherwise, you could always simply not watch half of this stuff)

Actually, I am surprised they didn't drag it out a little more.
