There mus be some way out of here...

Holy frak, holy frak, holy frak! So the music Tory, Anders, Tyrol, and Tigh were hearing was "All Along the Watchtower"? What the?! And they said its feels like a song for their childhood? So how do they know a song from the 60s on Earth?

Anyhoo, so they're four of the final five? Or is it a mindfrak and next year we'll find out they misinterpreted why they're hearing the music. Though they were 4 of the 5 leaders of the New Caprica resistance, and in key positions! Anders was the leader of the Caprican resistance, Chief, is well the Chief and the head of the labor unions, Tory is Rosalin's 2nd, and Tigh Adama's 2nd. What does this all mean?

But heh, I thought Seelix had a thing for Anders from last ep. And aw, she looked like a poor, sad kicked little puppy when she saw Anders was with Tory. I can believe Tory and Chief being cylons, but Tigh? Isn't he too old?! Was he like the very 1st infiltrator? And does that mean Nicky is half-cylon also!?

So what else happened? Baltar gets off because Lee was being all "Mr Smith goes to Washington" and gives this impassioned speech. Lame! But Adama was the deciding vote for acquittal! Looks like he's not getting any presidential poon now, though that phone call in the beginning of the ep, its like, just frak already! But thinking about it, Rosalin is kinda an evil bitch, isn't she? I mean, she wants to execute Baltar, damn the law, and she tried to steal the election, she's not actually the "good guy".

Oh, and Starbuck's back, and she knows the way to Earth! Is it really her? Is is a trick? av('Get an axe!') And what caused the fleet to power down? And are the cylons there to attack, or did they know Starbuck was going to show up and show the way to Earth, and they wanted to tag along?

The finale of Rome was kinda underwhelming. I mean, you know Cleo and Antony lose and die and Augustus is emperor for a long time. But its like, they kill themselves and that's it.

I also didn't expect the Pullo/Vorenus confrontation over Cesarion go as smoothly as it did. Its like, Pullo's all, "I'm here to kill Cesarian, but since I know he's really my son, let's run away together" and Vorenus is all, "Okay." Well, its not too smooth since the kid is an idiot and Vorenus ends up getting stabbed in the back mortally. So they go back to Rome, Pullo lies about killing Cesarion, and it ends with Pullo being all, "I'm your father!" What the?!

Ah... Cause you mentioned it / maybe you're readers may care... Jamie mentioned at the ICON convention that there are 2 hybrids, even before the ep aired.

Jamie also said the good guys are bad, the bad guys are good. No one is black and white. People hate his character. Really???

One of the things that confused me... Didn't they find Earth already, with that gate thing and the arrow or some crap like that? Couldn't they just teleport everyone that way?

I think that tomb they went to proved Earth existed, and gave clues how to get there. I don't think they got an exact location though, and with the vastness of space and not having star charts that go that far, its hard to plot a course to jump there.

I really have to rewatch, but I kinda remember them thinking the stonehenge thing was at first a map, then Kara says it is Earth.

Yeah, I think it gave them a frame of reference, but it wasn't like exact coordinates or anything.

Someone somewhere said that the original series had these god-like things that knocked out the power whenever they were around, and that they sometimes brought people back to life. Which would be bv("total BS!"). I like to think Starbuck ejected, that that vortex was a wormhole... though that doesn't explain how she had her ship back. Other people seem to think she's a cylon, or possibly that she's in Apollo's head, Six/Baltar style.

As for the music hearing folks, the fact that they're hearing an Earth song makes me want to believe it's something besides cylon-ness. That, and the fact that as soon as the four of them started hearing music no one else could hear, everyone immediately thought cylon. So that seems too easy.

I know you (Bill) are spoiler-phobic. I don't know about you Geebs. And I don't know if these are considered spoilers or just clarifications, but Ron D. Moore gave a couple interviews where he clarified some stuff about these questions.

Yeah, I wouldn't really read it (Bill) because it does have some other potential future series spoilers.

Nah I did read it and it was clarifications. Which is bullshit. I still liked the episode, but if they wanted to make that particular part clear, they fucked it up pretty badly.

I still haven't actually seen any of the episodes since the eye of jupiter cliffhanger, so.. I can't judge yet.

When Starbuck bought the farm I pegged her as a cylon. I didn't think they'd reveal all at once though, so maybe it is a trick.
