TV Commentary:
Glee- Okay, anyone who didn't get all verklempt over this ep is a grinch! It was a little schmaltzy, but in a good way. Although Artie getting that one mechanical exoskeleton thing was a little unbelievable even for this show. Didn't that just come out recently? I thought I just saw it on the tech blogs only within the last month. I didn't think they were available for sale, and I would think if they were, they'd be ridiculously expensive. It just seems weird, its like, "hey, here's this cool exoskeleton thing that can help cripples walk. Let's feature it on a show about a high school glee club!"
Also, does it make me a pervert that I though Brittany looked mad cute in the Cindy-Lou Who hairstyle? (And then later in her nightie talking to Bieste as Santa?) Also hot, the candy cane colored knee high socks Brit, Santana and Quinn were all sporting with their cheerleader uniforms.
I guess Hanukkah is pretty early in December this year, and Rachel at least references the fact that she's Jewish. But its kinda weird, she, Puck, and I assume Tina (with the last name Cohen-Chang? She has to be part Jewish!) are Jewish, but they're all acting like they celebrate Christmas.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, one of the band people actually got a line, weird! It was that one guy who I always thought kinda looked like Jackson from Hannah Montana. They say Glee club is the bottom rung of the social ladder and everyone hates them, but the band geeks seem to be very accommodating towards them. Its weird they're not considered part of the club when they dress up and perform along side New Directions at all the competitions.
