Am I in Horseville, because I'm surrounded by Neigh-sayers
Friggin' rain! I hate rainy days.
Got to check out a black 2010 Nissan GT-R up close last night. I've said before, man, those are sweet-looking cars. I've actually only seen the silver ones on the road, but I think the car looks best in black.
TV Commentary:
Smallville- Cool, tonight was the ep with Zatanna. (Wait, I was looking in the DC Wiki, and she's considered the most powerful member of the Justice League? Really? I thought she was just a sexy magician.) I'm amused that while she was wearing her traditional outfit at Chloe's b-day party, all her other outfits also had her wearing short skirts or shorts. And while the ep description was all "Zatanna casts a spell that accidentally cause Chloe and Lois to switch bodies." they don't actually swap, Lois was out of town and Chloe turned into Lois, so there were two Lois' running around. So Chloe as Lois would just be Lois wearing even tighter clothing (since she's wearing Chloes' clothes) and with a flower barrett in her hair? So Chloe finally realizes she doesn't want Lois hot-shot reporter life (its still amusing how a college drop out and tabloid reporter is suddenly the Daily Planet's best reporter), and officially joins Oliver's League as Watchtower?
Speaking of, they didn't actually have any of the Justice League in the ep, but they do show their headshots when Chloe dons her bluetooth headset. So its still Ollie, Aquaman, Black Canary, Cyborg, and Impulse?
And is it me, or when Clark forgot he had the superpowers (interesting that his wish just made him think he was a normal guy, rather than turning him into an actual normal human), he was still kinda a dick. Or at the ver least, seemed a little douchey?
The Office- I was wondering why Michael was still in the Office at the opening, but I guess when he quit, it was a two weeks notice thing. But he starts freaking out when he realizes he might've made a big mistake (was that Prince Paper company store he called the one he gave Corporate their client list? So he did run them out of business?!) and starts trying to recruit people for the new company he's starting?
Of course, the new boss gets hold of it and kicks Michael out. Crazily, when Michael pulls a Jerry Maguire, Pam actually joins him! I guess she's sick and tired of being a receptionist, so she joins Michael in his new venture, but her caveat that was she wasn't gonna be a receptionist anymore, she wanted to go to sales.
But interesting, the new bossman is looking outside for Michael's replacement. Looks like Jim continues to look bad in front of him. And I'm also amused that while the rest of the Office folks seemed indifferent at first (maybe even happy) that an "incompetent" like Michael is gone, it looks like they're also realizing they actually had it kinda cushy. Kevin got relegated to Pam's receptionist job (is it a remark that he's incompetent as an accountant?), and the bossman wants Stanley to start doing more.
