Maybe I should've used just half a dropper
Geez, its been busy, busy, busy today. And rainy, which is no fun when you have to be go all around campus. But cool, they unveiled Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for the PS3 at the GDC. Interesting, you can play as Ayane, or Momiju from Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword for the DS. Looks like there's a co-op mode also.
TV commentary:
:Interesting ep of Lost. Truthfully, the whole Sayid shooting Ben thing was not a surprise. I mean, they tried to ingrain into the audience that you can't change things in the past, so I knew they were gonna have some shocking moment where the Losties actually do make a big change. And the way Sayid kept looking at little Ben, Sayid trying to kill the creepy kid was inevitable.
But its a Sayid ep. We see he's a natural born killer, easily wringing a chicken's neck for his dad even though his older brother is too afraid to do it. We also found out Ilana is not a Marshall but a bounty hunter, and the credentials were faked so she could get Sayid to Guam, where the family of the golf course guy he killed want him to be brought to justice.
Still, the untold backstory for the three years was a little interesting. Previously, we saw Sayid as Ben's assassin attack dog, but then when it came close to the Oceanic 6 going back to the island, they had a falling out. I figured there was bad blood between the two because Sayid found out it was all a lie and Ben had tricked him. Well, Ben prolly had tricked him. But it looks like Sayid ended up killing everyone Ben needed him to kill, so Ben was all "we're done" and Sayid was purposeless. Hence him doing the habitat for humanity thing. I just find it interesting because Sayid being all distrustful of Ben this season seemed like it stemmed from a concrete betrayal rather than Sayid being aimless with the loss of Nadia and having the killing to get back at Widmore and avenge her to drive him, and going back to his general distrust of the evil little man.
Oh, and apparently Dharma has their own Sayid (not an A-rab, but a torturer) named Oldham, played by Larry with the two Darryl Brothers. Though they make him out to be this psycho, and he was pretty tame. All he did was drug Sayid! What kind of torture is that?! I mean, Sawyer was rougher when he tazed Sayid in the nuts. Not that I'm wanting to see some grisly torture, just that the guy doesn't seem so bad and scary to me. Amusingly enough, Sayid tells the truth, and babbles about the future and all that jazz, so they think he's crazy. Unfortunately, he also mentions the stations, so they think he's a spy. so, they decided to execute him, so Sawyer tries to get him to "overcome" him and escape, but Sayid's all, I know my purpose now.
See, the one weird thing about that is, he was intending to kill Ben, so why not just knock out Sawyer right there, and throttle the little punk in his sleep? As far as he knew, they were gonna execute him rather soon, how would he know Ben was going to help him escape and thus give Sayid the chance to kill him? So why stay there?
Heh, the writer's block question of the day is:
If you were in perfect shape (not to say that you aren't), what would be your extreme sport of choice?
The answer is of course cage fighting. Or The Club if it was real.
