TV commentary:

This week's BSG was an interesting change from last week. I mean, what's up with Ellen going back to her usual self? I mean, she seemed all wise last week, but she gets to the fleet, sees Tigh again and is back to being a drunk slut?! But boy was she not pleased about him knocking up Caprica. But I guess just like it was messed up that Cavil was screwing Ellen (in the body of her father!) Tigh and Caprica is like a father screwing his own daughter.

Interesting, so that whole cylon pregnancy coming about through love thing is for real? I didn't think it was meant so literally. But Ellen was quite pissed that he managed to impregnate Caprica, because she felt it signified he loved Caprica more than her since Ellen could never get preggers. So she plays mind games, and interestingly enough, the baby started having problems, first when Saul and Ellen screwed (WTF was up with him not saying anything until they visited Anders?! This whole mess is partly his fault because of that! I mean, in the hours she was there, during which he frakked her, it never occurred to him that he should tell his wife he knocked up another chick?!)

But then when Ellen swings the vote and Tigh refuses so Ellen uses that to show Six that Saul lurves Bill and Galactica more than her and their baby and the baby starts dying?! Weird. What, do the parents have some wireless link going on with the kid and if they're not totally lovey-dovey, it terminates itself because it doesn't want to be born into a loveless union? But at least Ellen sees the error of her ways and legitimately feels bad for being such a bitch and driving Caprica to lose the baby. Which is kinda sad, but it would have been pretty corny if the baby did live because she believed Saul loved her enough.

Oh, but Ellen is not the only one doing a 180. What's with Tyrol being all Chiefy last week, and now he's voting to leave the fleet?! WTF?!

But getting back to Saul lurving Adama, that's kinda hilarious. I did kinda think it was funny when Bill was comforting him, and Saul was all, "He would've been named 'Liam'!" and Adama was all touched and "That's short for William!" so Saul has to nip that corniness in the bud by telling him, "Its not like that!"

Interesting though, some of the cylons were all, "Leave the fleet and restart a pure cylon race" and Adama, although he was putting the organic goop on his girl was still not keen on this blending, the blending has already happened. Heavy Raider on the CAP, the cylons are even putting pics of their own lost in the wall of remembrance! But weren't two of those pics of Boomer or Athena? Or did they just use those in lieu of having a pic for whatever specific 8 they were mourning? Because that's kinda rude to put a pic of someone who's still alive on there! And you think some people would be a little pissed, since a lot of those dead were because of the cylons.

Heh, another development this week was Baltar rejoining his cult. Jeanne was happy to see him, but Paulla wasn't. Though even though she was warrior zealot chick for a while, wasn't she kinda wavering in the beginning? I thought the earlier eps with her, she seemed a little disdainful. But they go to the "slums" and Gaius sees some cutie with a kid named Gaius, and he decides to give a rousing speech and wanting to feed everybody (though it seemed like he was only doing that to get in the chick's pants!) But then the Sons of Ares rob them, so Chip Six guides Baltar into regaining his flock. And he somehow convinces Adama to arm them?! So now they have bigger guns than the Sons of Area, and his flock is happy with him again, especially Paulla. Or mebbe she just likes guns. Is it me, or is she a kinda cute little psychopath, particularly the way she gets all happy with a gun in her hand. My kinda girl. HOTT!

Okay, this week was kinda sweet, full of cuteness with Matt and Julie (who i'm guessing lost their v-cards to each other?) and Jason with his kid (heh, I was amused how the Riggins boys and Herc were all looking at him like he was a big lame-o, but they did also seem kinda touched) Speaking of Street, the realization that working with Herc and the Riggins might not be the smartest thing ever starts weighing down on him, but luckily Coach gives him a pep talk. Its always nice to see those two together. I did find it hilarious when Coach first bumped into him at the lumberyard or whatever and Jason tells him his plan, and you can see the coach have this face all, "The Riggins brothers? Herc? Fixing up Buddy's old place? Are you retarded?!"

Which is what Saracen's grandma thinks Coach is. She gives him a talking to at the supermarket, but she seems crushed at the next game, when he didn't take her "advice" and play Matt. Speaking of the game though, JD did well, but wow, his father is a huge prick. Coach gets Tim to help get JD accepted by the team since JD is a huge dork, but he keeps getting undermined by Mr. Mccoy. First he tries to invite him to a post-game victory party, but JDs dad comes in and drags him off to Applebees. Then when Tim takes him to a party and gets him drunk, his dad makes him apologize to Coach for embarrassing himself and the team when Coach prolly could care less. I mean, he prolly doesn't want JD to die of alcohol poisoning, but at the same time he recognizes boys will be boys and they need to cut loose sometimes.

In other happenings, Crucifictorious' bass player quits (was that the one kid who was friends with Matt and Landry first season who got beat up by that one Mexican kid, and the Mexican kid lied and said he beat him up because he said racist things to him? Speaking of that string of eps, its weird to see Voodoo as Hardison on Leverage. I mean, the latter is all jokey, while Voodoo was this kinda creepy silent type), so they hire a pixie-ish frosh. Wonder if Landry will go for her now that Tyra's with Cash.

Speaking of Cash, Tyra breaks up with him because some chick comes around asking for child support. Heh, Tami is all sorry for her, but you know she's doing a little dance inside. But she takes Cash back, because he says the girl is a crazy stalker. Hmm, I wonder if he's for real. And what the eff is up with Mindy's dress having friggin' butterfly wings on them. I'm amused that she and the mom refer to the dress as "classy".
