No big surprises here. I mean, Palmer not seeking a 2nd term? Chase having to give up his hand? Tony going to prison for a long time? Interesting turn-outs, but nothing earth-shattering. And Jack breaks down? Why, because of how shitty the job actually is? Because he can never have the life he hopes Kim and Chase has after he gets out of the field? Alas, as evidenced by the final minutes, he never gets a break. Hmm, I heard Kiefer Sutherland is going out with Reiko Aylesworth in real life. If so, good choice, she's cute. It turns out she's a quarter Japanese. I thought she had an asian look to her. And with a name like "Reiko"? Imdb also says she was on "One Life to Live" during the time I was actually watching it.
Owel, had this strange dream last night, where I ended up in the past during the Trojan war. I knew I had travelled to the past, and everyone thought I was this great warrior. So, I'm liking killing enemy soldiers, and somehow my presence or something I did is enough to turn the tide and send the Greeks packing. I didn't think I did all that much though, I only fought and killed like five or six guys before the Greeks retreated, mostly because we were able to stop them from entering the city. And that part of the battle was nowhere near me. But the trojans still treat me like a hero, and apparently we're going on the offensive and they want me to help win their war. I'm taken to the battlefront, which is this kinda lush wetlands area which looked pretty beautiful. Unfortunately, one of my guides, this old seer, is taken away to be crucified for heresy and I have to do this on my own. I ready myself for battle, and given a special katana, which this cute chick ties onto my belt for me, and magical armor. Well, it wasn't really armor since it was actually just two, non-matching glowing shoulder guards. Alas, I was woken up by the construction going on outside to see how it all turned out. Now that I think about it, I think the Trojans credited me with their victory was because I revealed information from the future that helped them win that first battle.

I saw the finale as well even though I pretty much missed the season. Yeah, I was waiting for a big bang as well. I mean previous seasons ended like that. But no... All we get is Keifer...
BTW... what ever happend to Nina?

Jack finally killed Nina. It was kinda cool, they were interrogating her at CTU and they had this one torturer guy about to inject something into her neck so she purposely swings her head back to get stabbed in the neck like she was trying to kill herself. So of course, they take her to the infirmary to try and save her. Mind you, Jack wasn't involved in this part, because he wouldn't have fallen for this trick, so when they told him Nina stabbed herself, he was all, "Where is she now?" and of course the alarms go off and she had killed the doctors and the guards watching her. As they were locking CTU down, Kim somehow found a dead guard and got his gun and went to look for Nina, who was in the same room Teri got killed in s1. So they had a showdown, and Nina was about to shoot Kim, because let's face it, if Kim and Nina were in a mexican standoff with guns pointed at each other, Nina would most likely win. Anyways, Jack gets there in the nick of time and shoots her, then tells Kim to get security. As Jack stands over Nina's body, he's all, "You don't have any more information!" and then plugs her full of holes. Theoretically, she was going for her gun, but she was so wounded there's no way she could have gotten to it to kill Jack, who could have easily taken her alive if he wanted to at that point. So you don't know if he did execute her in cold blood or if it was self defense, and the next ep made it look like he was going to get in big trouble, but they quickly forgot about it. It was like Chapelle was all, "Did you kill Nina in cold blood?" and Jack was all "it was self defense, you just can't tell from the camera angle!" and Chapelle was all, "Good enough for me." and everything was back to normal.
