ME blather- So I've finished up the Phoenix Adept and Batarian Sentinel, leaving the extracts for the Demolisher, Phoenix Vanguard, Talon Merc, and Asari Justicar. I'm actually half way through the vanguard, but since I've already done the biotic charge, lash, and smash challenges on this go through of biotic mastery, I started up on the justicar to finish up the reave challenge, putting me at 13 of 14 in biotic mastery. I'm 75% through Annihilation Field, so I can play the Fury to finish that up. And since that will reset all the counts for completing biotic mastery, I can complete it again (along with dark channel and throw) whilst re-finishing up fury extracts. Plus that will also allow me to earn points on powers again whilst going through the justicar and phoenix vanugard.
But yeah, playing the justicar again from the last time I tried her, having gotten better at the game, I've gotten better at playing her. My mistake last time was thinking I had to throw up biotic spheres and wait for enemies to go into them and detonate biotic explosions with reave. But nope, her version of reave is more powerful than the other characters. Its like, I just keep spamming it and even boss units die quickly. I mean, I still use biotic sphere, but the way its meant to, all defensive- between the damage reduction of the sphere and the damage reduction from reave, I usually come out ahead just standing in it and spamming it. And if I get in trouble, then I can flee, and when enemies go through to get at me, then I cast reave at them and set off a biotic explosion when they enter the sphere.
TV commentary:
HIMYM- Dangit Lily! Why did you chase off Robin's potential new hot Asian friend? But its amusing they did a call back to Lily's crush on Robin. But what the hell show, I figured the whole trying to find Robin a lady friend would lead to her meeting the mother.
And heh, so Barney did show up the carousel and saw Robin and Ted holding hands- I was worried they would pull some BS where when he said "I saw you at the carousel!" last week and we end up finding out it meant something else. Then Barney was all, "Its cool, no hard feelings!" But he was still holding a grudge. Which does get resolved by the end of the ep. Ted swears its over because he wouldn't do that to Barney and Robin, so hopefully that is indeed the end of that.
Bones- Ah, I figured that's how that was going to go. When they sent Flynn off to plant the body, I figured the corpse they found was going to end up being him. Interesting though, so despite looking suspicious, Flynn actually hadn't been working with Pelant? Because last year there were times he seemed suspicious, but I guess Pelant confirmed at the end he was innocent.
But finally, he's dead by Booth's hand, so now he can tell Bones about being prevented from marrying her and can finally propose for real. Interesting though, Pelant pointed out some chick serial killer to Bones to try and entice her not to kill him. But will this person be this season's big bad, where they have to catch her themselves and try and figure out what Pelant did?
