Thing I'm doing to entertain myself currently:
- Reading IDW's Infestation cross-over event.
- Watching Luther on Netflix.
- Finishing up getting almost everything for everyone in DW7: XL, so I can start on WO3 (which I just bought from the Playstation store and have currently downloading slowly to my PS3)
TV commentary:
Common Law- You know, I don't know why people are getting onto Wes for not moving on. Or rather, for still being in love with his ex-wife. Its not like he ever fell out of love with her- they made it clear in the pilot that after he quit being a lawyer to become a cop, she wanted a divorce because she didn't want to be a cop's wife and be constantly worrying about him.
And could it be any more obvious the race car driver did it? Its like gee, he's bragging about he's a better driver than the cops, I wonder if this will end in a car chase where Wed and Travis prove him wrong!?
Young Justice- So we had the time jump to 5 years later this season, but now apparently we've gotten a glimpse of the future 40 years from the current time line, where Impulse has come back from the future to try and prevent the desolation we see there. So he ends up changing history to prevent the death of his grandfather, the Flash, and preventing Neutron (who is his friend in the future) from becoming a super-villain. But not enough to stop the desolation. We still have no idea who this new enemy is, but apparently they're doing metagene stuff on all those kidnapped people, creating folks like Neutron.
And Red Arrow finally find Speedy. I wonder how that's going to turn out. I like how Cheshire was motivated to search for original Roy so clone Roy could stop being so emo and be a father to their child, because like the others said last ep, even though Red Arrow is a clone, he's the only Roy they know, they didn't become friends with original Speedy. Cheshire had the kid with him, not the original.
Legend of Korra- Okay, Ikki accidentally and nonchalantly mentioning to Asami that Korra likes Mako was kinda hilarious. Though was she totally oblivious to that fact?! So, interesting, Tarlokk has mastered blood bending to such a high degree he doesn't need a full moon to do it? Also, who is the guy in the flashback? And what is his relation to Tarlokk? Apparently that guy was also a powerful bloodbender as well, having simultaneously stopped Toph, Sokka, Avatar, and random metal benders in the middle of a courtroom, possibly to escape?
Now, is Tarlokk working with Amon, possibly using the Equalists to scare the council/benders to give him enough political power in the name of stopping them? Or are they two threats with their own agendas, Amon really wanting to get away from what he perceives to be the oppressiveness of the benders and willing to do anything to do so, while Tarlokk is taking advantage of the sitch? I dunno, Tarlokk seems to know too much at times, I'm suspecting they are working together.
